Uno Mas Margarita Por Favor.......

It's 4:20. 10 minutes to go before I can go home.

It has just been one of those days at work today. It started with the power supply in my main work PC deciding to sudenly go away. It went down hill from there. I lost about two hours worth of work, and haven't been able to catch up. (...not that I really feel like it anyway.)

I'm sitting here craving a Margarita. Gonna make one the minute I get home. Here's my favorite recipe:

1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1 oz 18k Reposito Tequilla
1 oz Patron Blanca Tequilla
1 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz Grand Marnier

Shake it with ice and strain into unsalted Margarita glass.

How do you like your margaritas?

i like mine already made at a dive mexican restaurant. my fav is a place in nashville, tn. it's almost glow-in-the-dark neon green with WAY too much tequila in it. mmmmmm......

OH!.....and with chips and queso. that's just a must.

i'm just way to lazy to actually go to the trouble of making my own when there's perfectly good beer in the fridge that only takes a twist of the wrist to be ready.

Absolut?! Nah, Grey Goose is the only way to go for Vodka, speaking of liquor, who has a good new years story, or just a drunk story in general?

So that's how they get it so smooth....

I prefer good bourbon to just about anything else, room temperature, no mixer no water no ice. Old Grand Dad is current choice.

If you want a great Vodka that will go head to head with GG, K1, or an other Vodka you are thinking of; Try This....

Tito's Hand Made Vodka

Tito's Handmade Vodka

This award winning and highly praised vodka comes from, of all places, Austin Texas. Handmade through the painstaking process of old-fashioned pot distilling the result is a spectacularly clean product of incomparable excellence.

I've had them all and this one is wonderful.

I've tried Tito's (there's half a bottle of it in my garage freezer right now), you are correct, it is very good. The taste and finish are very surprising for a corn based Vodka. I've also tried a lot of the high end "Premiums", there are many great ones out there. But for my money, you can't beat Ketel One. In my opinion, it's one of the cleanest Vodkas around.

Is it your friend or enemy that takes your keys and then saran wraps your car shut when you are too drunk to drive?

I'd say you friends...take it from a one eyed guy that had two before trying to drive home after a party.
