V8 colorado?

Ive heard that the Chevy colorado may be getting the 5.3 liter V8. And today i swore i saw a new colorado with v8 badges on a car carrier truck. My question is, has it arrived? the site doesn't say anything about it...

i.m not sure, and the reason being is we all have a crystler branded vehicle known as a jeep, not to be mistaken or confused with a truck, car, minivan, train, plain, bus, boat,or tank
although the last one might be the closest!! anyways if you find anything out be sure and post it ....well i guess somewhere..umm in the chevy section...thats somewhere on the jeep site i think!!

hahahahahahahaha

A local chevy dealership has a 09 Colorado(it's a 4 banger) listed on their website so it's possible that the V8 Colorado could be out.

I don't see why not... the Hummer H3 Alpha (same platform) has the 5.3L in it... horrible gas mileage though.

I will look monday if I remember. I have access to a "distribution center" for new vehicles, as well as some GM representatives and what not.

What is wrong with the 5 cyl? One of my uncles up in WV bought a crew cab 4 ft bed because of his babies. He followed my Jeep around up through the mountain trails. He said he loves the truck, the only downside to it is the unibody frame. Says its weak enough that "real" offroading would knock all the panels out of alignment and its not worth trying too much. How true that is, I don't know, but I do know that 5 cyl keeps up with my inline 6 just fine
