Viva Las Vegas....

Got here on Tuesday. Staying at the Red Rock resort. My wife came for a conference, so I tagged along. Spent yesterday helping the sponsoring organization set up their book store. Today I've concentrating on homework. Just finished a paper so I thought I'd take a break.

This place is very cool, it's 10 miles west of the strip and has everything you could possibly need. This is a picture out the window by the desk I'm working at in our room on the 18th floor:

It's probabily not what you would think, but yes it's very interesting and I'm having fun being here. Last night they gave me $3.00 in free slot play (Woo Whoo) I put it in a $1 slot and played all three credits on one pull. Won $80!

Oh sure... That's how it starts, a couple of free tokens to gamble with. The next thing you know your accounts are all empty. You're selling the house and the cars and before you know it you're selling your ass on the street to feed your slot machine addiction.

It's not too late to get that monkey off your back Unlimited. We can help!

The place I had the best luck was at MGM on the .05 and the .25 slots. Most fun was the Wheel of Fortune roundtable game, shoulda stopped while I was way ahead on that one

The Vegas monkey has always been nasty to me. Much nicer monkies in Reno.

The Lexor is my casio of choice. Hotel to stay at, which is no longer on the strip...the Westward Ho. Home of the 3/4 lb hot dog for $.99.

Anyways

Went in their the summer of 06, with $50. 7 hours later at a craps table I was escorted by security to cash out. $9700, my buddy and I partied like rockstars for the next two days and I went home with my trip paid for and $1000 in my pocket.

One of the best trips in my life.

This was after spending 4 days driving across country from Atlanta to LA, spent 2 days in LA, and then drove to Vegas for a 3 day stay and then flew out from Vegas, back to Atlanta.

I love me some Vegas and I am trying to get back out there this year
