As I constantly tell people (especially those who dye their hair - nothing against that, it's just not for me) Rejoice in your grey hair, it's not your youth going away, it's your wisdom coming out.

Willy's, yep, got a '47 sitting in front of the barn, restoration project.

We older people have enough wisdom to watch the younger kids do the dumb stuff and not do it ourselves.....most of the time.

We all went to different schools together.

Course them was real schools back in the day.
Classes lasted three hours each, nine classes a day. But each semester was only thirty weeks long. Then we had a break. After that hour was over classes started back up.
Headmaster was very strick. If you got any questions wrong in the daily exam, you had to redo the entire quiz, all 400 questions.
But we learned, by the end of the year we were ready to start first grade.

Ha Ha! This whole thread made me laugh. I'm 36 (37 in September) and according to my students I'm old. Although the hubby is knocking on the door of 40.

I'm really feeling old today. Been painting the garage & it's taking forever and now everything hurts. Who's idea was it anyway? Oh yeah, the almost 40 year old Miata man. Damn him! We're still not done, so my baby's gonna have to sit outside another night.

Do the high schoolers really want us to invade their thread?

You know what they say about "age and treachery"...

Crap. Misspelled a word. Where are my reading glasses???

I was only joking because when we made ours Kate stopped in and gave as a prodding, just for fun. No offense.

Well you built it so we came, although, some of us may not remember how to get back .
Awe heck, were all young at heart. We all know something a lot of others don't... The fountain of youth is spelled J-E-E-P! I'm pretty sure I spelled that correctly...

Yes I know what a Willy's is, had one, killed it on a 100 mile trip through the woods, the CJ did not fare to well either. My YJ did very well.

I am 62, still have my hair, don't have my teeth, can still hear, I am up in the morning before I get out of bed, can still run a jeep up the hill or over a rock, through a river, and still be able to walk when I am done for the day.

So bring it on you little wipper snappers.
And what the hell is this school thing you are all taking about!!
Love this thread
