I like this. I am going to keep this as a bench mark. I already am there for bench and deadlift but need to get my squat back up over 365. I also definitely need to get my cardio up. As a naturally skinny guy I fight to keep the weight on, therefore cardio has never been a big part of my routine. But I definitely know it is important

That sir, is stellar advice and ever so true!

I do cardio based weight training and run on the off days, I take a day off on Sunday's. You gotta play hard and rest harder!

I am 38 years old, and in better shape now that when I graduated Ranger School at 19.

The only suplements I take is a serving of protien post work out. Everything else comes from diet.

I want to look like Ryan Gosling. I'm on a fast track to it. I have terrible face symmetry, I'm horrible actor, now if i could just emulate those shoulders...

So my goal is not to gain size but to turn what I have into muscle/strength. Should I be doing less weight and higher reps to achieve this? Right now I will do 3 sets of 15 reps on any given exercise. sometimes i will push it till i'm down to an extremely low weight but it feels heavy because of all the reps I've done previously. will this help to give me more definition?

Definition comes from more reps at a lower weight......and lots of cardio. I'm goin for size. I just LOVE the pump from arm days. It's hard to fix the collar on my work shirt, some days. I have a pic of what I used to look like, but y'all wouldn't believe it was me. I was 255.....fat and unhappy.

I was 231 during the summer am down to 210 now. I'm 6 ft so if I can turn that into muscle I don't think 200-210 is heavy for me.

Tip of the day... The answer to almost every question people have about lifting weights is: squat heavy and often, and eat more

This was taken a couple days ago. If I trim a little more fat my abs will look great. What I REALLY need to work on are my shoulders, lats, and chest

I had te same problem. Couldn't get my chest to pop out and my bench was weak. As soon as you focus on your back and a lot of pulling motion exercises your chest will stick out and your posture and bench strength will increase

Tip of the day (I might do this every day, lol):
Women: lifting weights doesn't make you bulky, it makes you hot.

Is anyone as big a fan of tire flipping as me? Total core/leg/back/arm destruction.

I love tire flipping. It works out just about every muscle you could, in one exercise.
