went on a date, she hated my Jeep

A while ago, I went on a date, and I thought it was a good time, until she had some negative things to say about my Jeep when I took her for a ride. Things like "needs paint" "It's too noisy" "where is your top? It's messing my hair up", and a few others I can't remember. Well, after these what I felt were insults, I spent the remainder of the time going out of my way making left turns as hard as possible and giving more gas than what I am normally comfortable with while turning that hard in an effort to throw her out lol. I was unsuccessful, (she was belted in) but I think I proved my point.

There's plenty of fish in the sea, you can throw that one back and keep on Jeepn.

I am interested in what kind of car she drove. What kind of a person is so critical and judgmental on a first date?

No offense but it was probably you she did not really like. If she would have liked you she would have loved your jeep until you had been married for a few years and then she would start bitching about it.

My gf LOVES my jeep, but then again she's always been a car (or in this case, a jeep) person.

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard while reading a thread. I can just imagine jerking the steering wheel with fingers crossed she goes flying

Reminded me of my teen years when my uncle would bring citty kids down for the weekend. Had one on the back of my 4wheeler that kept complaining that I had got her shirt dirty. I didnt want her to ride with me anymore but she still wanted to ride. I did a N drop when we were leaving camp, stood it up in the air, she fell off backwards and I drove away. Can you beleave 15 years later and she still doesn't' like me.

I went on a date last night with a pretty little blond girl. Needless to say we didn't make it to dinner. Instead I told her I knew of this little mud puddle that was pretty fun. With me lying to her and never actually going in this so called "puddle" before, got me stuck for 2 hours. But it's alright. I had a friend bring me some dominos and we decided to just chill in the jeep and actually had a great time. No whining happened from her either. I think she's a keeper. Or a jeeper haha

Get rid of her and find a chick that drives a jeep! I know it is stereotypical but most of the time jeep chicks are pretty cool!

If she can push start a jeep on her own, pop the question tomorrow.

My various instructors at Ft. Benning used to comment that if you keep a soldier busy enough...they dont have time to complain.

Inversely...if her mouth has time to complain...well...no further comment.

I met my wife because she asked about my YJ. After two months of dating, she got one.
Now we've been married 20years. We have two jks and just got my son a YJ.

If she doesn't like your jeep send her packin'!

I have the opposite issue. My EX boyfriend complained about the jeep and the forum. He hated riding in it he hated the time I spent with it and he hated me talking about it. He is now an EX. Dated another guy a bit and he liked the jeep but didn't want to meet my jeep friends. He was friend zoned. So I will just keep looking for that perfect guy. That jeep lover that understands me. No rush. I still have my jeep my son and my dog!

Good call..you probably already know this but if your "guy" doesn't want to meet your friends...rather intentionally or not...by excluding as many of your people it is easier to control you, or any other person.

To me you have your priorities set, family faithful animals and reliable/ fun transportation.....and I am sure your son loves the JEEP!!

Good Luck, it will happen when it is s'posed to.....

First date with my x-wife, said whats that noise?? Got out, put my ear to the hood on the drivers side (while locking hub), looked perplexed, went to passenger side, ear to hood while I locked that hub, said "oh, musta been nothing" proceeded to the nice little trails by the river til I got in position to climb a big hidden hill, airborn off the top..... lol. We both loved PJ the CJ... many moons ago...back in the days of lockouts!

Typical. Some women don't like dogs or boats either. They never got 2nd dates either.
