Retired Military 22 years. Worked on the pro AMA Supercross/Motocross circuit for about 2.5 years (Parts Unlimited/THOR), then went US Contractor for the military, 2 times in the middle East, now in Caribbean, with US Drug Interdiction. Feel like I have given enuff for the country now my turn to go home and play JEEP that in 83 days I am going home PERMANENTLY to be with my family, taking over a District manager job 6 miles from my house. I will eat, sleep and live in my own home first time in almost 7 years. Passing the torch .

Former Army Infantry Senior Sniper Team Leader (11b/B4)

Certified Flight Instructor Single Engine Land/Sea
Certified Flight Instructor Instrument
Multi-Engine Instructor

I'm not actively teaching SCUBA with any regularity anymore, but I stay current so that I can if it's needed.

I teach classes at a couple firing ranges on how to become better shooters with pistols/rifles, to include a long-gun course that focuses on mid-range (500m-800m) shooting as well as long-range (800m-1200m) shooting. It's popular with the local Highway Patrol who in turn lets me use their range at will.

I teach people how to fly airplanes. I have less than 100 hours in a helicopter (most in a Schweizer, but also some in an R22 and an R44), so I don't have anywhere near the experience to teach people how to fly helicopters...but I'm slowly working on it! Lol...

So what do I do?
A lot...hahahahaha

I manage a Circle K (convenience store/gas station) Pay is crap benefits okay (6 weeks if vacation, paid major holidays, and additional 10 days off for personal). 12years with the company. I love my employees/co-workers, most of my customers and have a pretty okay boss. It could be better, it could be worse! I enjoy it and don't mind going to work.

I install fire protection systems. Me being one of the few skinny guys I usually get sent into the small cramped areas to hang pipe.
Pay is alright. Get paid more than most 21year olds I know.

in flight missile repair technician.

actually this is me right here, I'm on my shore duty rotation and going crazy with the lack of things to do. Some days I could literally go to work and sit on a couch for 8 hours and nobody would say a word.

  • I spent 25 years hauling garbage in Chicago.
  • When I bought the company, I needed a part time job. Became a part time cop for 15 years.
  • Sold the company quit the PD and moved to NM to own a country store & campground. Still here.
  • EPA closed my campground and I added gas to the store rather than try to reopen the campground.
  • Was hired by a guy in WA state to debug a new website that he was developing in the early days of the internet. I was his fresh eyes after 20 hours of staring at code.
  • That gig led me to my current online gig, which I do in my spare time running my store, working for Penthouse Media Group. Yes, that Penthouse.
  • I consult for the county on many issues from garbage to lodging.
  • I am the favorite grandfather of my one and only grandkid. This is the most important thing of my list.

I'm a middle school history teacher, graduate school student (only have to finish my thesis), father and husband. I'm pretty busy with that.

Where's your gas station at? Good reason to go for a drive from Abq.
