Famous only in the eyes of some this is probably the greatest guy I have met. He lives down the road and have met him several times. Medal of Honor Recipient. Mr. Norris

Thomas R. Norris - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is also a movie you can try and find called Bat 21

A few years back I had to attend the Miami boat show every year and one year I hung out and had drinks with Alan Jackson on a yacht and another year it was Mario Andretti. They both were great people.

Saw Shaq coming out of a cigar shop a couple years back in Orlando. It looked like he HAS to have the top down in his Ferrari for him to fit.

Back when I was younger and still living in New York, I met Danny Trejo when he came to thr boys and girls club as a guest speaker. He was a pretty cool guy.

I was almost stepped on by Bill Goldberg.

And I survived a Death stare from Chuck Norris.

Was snowed in at O'Hare in the mid 80s. I managed to snag a table at one of the bars on the concourse and Robin Zander and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick walked up ( I swear on my dad's grave) and asked if they could sit down... A couple of the nicest, unassuming guys you could hope to run into... And they picked up the tab...

Growing up in Woodland Hills Ca. I went to school with many celebs and would regularly see celebs in public so I was never one to be "star struck" in Kona Hawaii I worked on the beach at a resort that was a regular visit for many famous people, again, I never really felt star struck, until... Ozzy! Holy crap, it's Ozzy!!

Holy Old Thread Revival, Batman! :o

Let's see..
Drank with Matt "Guitar" Murphy (Blues Brothers) when he played local clubs in CT. We had gone to a few shows, always talked to him between sets and he got to recognize us quick. After that we were on the guest list and had a table--much better for drinking and jawing then!

Back when Kenny Bernstein was still driving Top Fuel, we were in the pits at the Summer Nationals. He almost ran me down on his bicycle!

In '92 I was an extra (Confederate) on the set for Gettysburg. Met a few of the actors on the set, autographs, et c: Richard Jordan (his last movie), Steven Lang, Tom Beringer (jerk), Royce Applegate, and Sam Elliot. Saw Ted Turner and Hanoi Jane on the set but didn't get close to them; could have, didn't care to...
When the movie was released in '93, some friends who had also been extras and I went to the premier in Boston. The director Ron Maxwell and Martin Sheen were there for the event. We were wearing parts of our uniforms (shell coats & kepis), and when Sheen saw us he hollered "There's some of my boys!" and came right over, shook our hands and started talking to us. He kept us with him for the rest of the meet & greet in the lobby.

Body surfing at an Iggy Pop show and I got dumped on the stage. I hoped to my feet, we just looked at each other, I got a quick high 5 and dove back. does that count as meeting? Also said to Johnny Ramone "cool gig" after a show and he replied "Thanks".
