Springfield XD .45 acp regular (16) and subcompact grip (10), full length barrell. [Getting my CHL in a few weeks I hope!]

.270 Ruger MII Stainless/Polymer w/Nikon glass

Piece of crap Remington 700 12ga shotgun

Taurus 24/7 Pro .40 cal

.38 Special TX State Trooper 1930's issue.

Sorry, got pics but haven't learned how to post 'em without going through a real pain in the a$$ process.

Is that a Ruger Mark II? I'm going to get the Ruger Mark III Hunter. That's a great pistol, very reliable from what I understand. And don't let the small caliber fool you, it'll kill you just as quick as the rest!

That sig 229 is sweet.
I need to get a smaller pistol if I ever want to carry. Looking at a sweet subcompact Sig .45 acp but can't remember the model. Mostly want the CHL just to cover my a$$ in case I have it with me like I sometimes do.

Thank you, I love that Sig. It's heavier than my glock and slightly more bulky but my love for that gun exceeds everything else. Be careful because in TX carrying w/o a permit is a Class A Misdemeanor (Up to 1yr in jail, $4000 fine, or both)
I was in the police academy until about 3wks ago, I broke my ankle and was relieved from duty. But I know the TX laws now. Oh! And keep in mind, the .45 will be wider and thus harder to conceal.

You guys must be a lot younger then I am. I got tired of carrying my 9mm as it was just to heavy. I now carry the short 357 in my pics and love it. I can wear it all day an not even know it is there. It is also easy to conceal. BTW I do have CCL in AZ.

my XD45 is fairly heavy with a full clip but not too noticeable and I forget it's there (when wearing around the ranch, not in public). Still want a subcompact sig or glock .40 for carry.
Hmmm...mods, guns, mods, guns...damn, just not nearly enough money for all my vices.

They aren't clips, they are magazines. That's always been a pet peeve and now that I'm a firearms instructor...

Clips are what hold the rounds together. For instance, when you get a case of .223 or 5.56 they come in a bandoleer of 120. The bandoleer has 4 pockets and each pocket has 3 clips of ten rounds. They still have to loaded into magazines to be fired.

A magazine is pertinent for the functioning of that weapon.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Don't hate me.

I'm familiar with some of those guns. It's amazing how much we all differ in opinion of a good gun, and the guns we have. Mine are still the best! j/k

Yeah, if the Department of Defense found out I was posting pictures of my Barrett (actually the Army's Barrett) .50 cal on a public forum, they might not be too happy. I've also decided to post all of my replies in blue.

Dress her in desert tan paint and there's my girl. Different glass, though.

I'm safe. 100% cali legal. the law states you cannot have a detachable magizine centerfire semi automatic rifle. it specifically states if it does not require the use of a tool to remove the mag it is illegal. a product was designed and made by cali gun owners that basicall pins the magazine inside the mag well. you slam the mag in and it locks in. the mag release button was replaced with a new unit that does not let you simply use your finger to release it. you have to use a tool to push in a small magazine to drop it. kind of a PITA but the only viable option here.

No pics of any of mine, but I have a few:
S&W .44 Mag
H&R .22lr revolver - very fun little gun
A few Ruger 10-22 rifles (three I think)
Ruger .30-06
Winchester .308
Couple Mossberg 12 Guage shotguns
.22lr & 20 guage over-under (my first gun)
And a couple other random shotguns

I think that sums it up.
