I'll obviously go first. One of the things I've learned is to always dream big because like if too short to be mediocre. And pool filters don't like
Jell-O.

In July of 1986 I admitted that alcohol, drugs and me don't get along. Funny, since that admission I haven't been locked up and I can affords things like my Harley and Jeep. People no longer cross the street to avoid me and I can hold a job.

Yep, that was the biggest for me, everything I had/have in life that I enjoy was a result of that day in July of 1986.

Love like they could be gone tomorrow, because when they are gone, you can't show them how much you did love them.

Yep, this one and I like another as well. A fellow workaholic and very dear friend told me this on his day on this Earth, he said

"Son, you better stop working so much, and enjoy life, cause when you get to the end you have no more life to live"

He went on to say that he wished he could do over and spend more time with his family.

Yes its very sad when at the end, you realize, you'd wish things had been different. Realization isn't always in the positive.

Life is a game, learn to play it, follow the rules, keep your mouth shut and ears open.

We never know what tomorrow may bring, and yesterday is gone and nothing we can do can go back to change that. All we have is the here and now, try to enjoy it. When it is overwhelming, know that it can still be worse...Alot worse.

The best laid plans of mice and men oft go awry.

Life's a beach, then you die.

Game the system.

Never plan on there being a tomorrow.

Just a few of pearls of wisdom learned in 67 years.

Life isn't fair, and not everyone gets dealt a great hand, but it is still what you make of what you are dealt. 90% of making it tolerable, even enjoyable, is a positive attitude.
