What is your occupation?

So guys in hope of spurring off another long thread, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone does.

Do you work in retail? A corporation? Self employed? (tell us more maybe we can spur your carrer) Mechanic? Florist? Caterer? Multifaceted-I-Make-Money-Any-way-I-Can person?

I personally work in the freight industry at Averitt Express corporate offices in a hybrid operations/customer service position. I am however also self employed in that I run a web hosting company of 3 years now and do web development work, as well as being the make money any way I can guy (see bulk vending, RMT, anything that nets an income)

so whats everyone else do?

Well, at the moment I am seeking a new job, but had been in realestate sales for a number of years, mostly new homes sales, it helped pay for Jeep mods, so I guess it was okay. Just didn't leave much free time, as in I usually worked my "days off". Thus, just looking for some thing that will let me spend some time with the wife and still be able make the house, jeep and food bills..LOL

I just Started at Zippo a couple of months ago as a Process Development Engineer. I get to come up with new finishes and process to enhance the appearance of Zippo Lighters. I just made a Zippo look like a BFG Mud Terrain today. Pretty cool...I love it

Now that my friend is a nice job. So I've always wondered how many different zippos have been created. I know I have about 40 different ones and figured there has to be thousands throughout the years. So is that something you could find out for an enquiring mind?

We have a whole museam full of em. We probably do a couple of hundred different ones each year just for company promotions. We also have specific lighters for just about every country in the world. I would think it would at least get into the six figures. I have worked on about fifty different designs for our catalog and company promotions in the two months I have been there. The Penns Woods Jeep Jamboree actually tours our plant and museam. Sounds like a nice road trip for you next year.
