I like Jeeps and um.. Jeeps.

Seriously though.. if I could find a really solid 66-77 Bronco without cut fenders I would love to have a stock one (minus the hub caps). I also wouldn't mind having a GT Mustang in a hard top.

In all seriousness, as far as other cars go, the only one I've ever really taken a liking to is the 1978 Corvette Stingray. There's just something about that look I really like.

Thirdgen F-Bodies (82-92 Camaros and Firebirds) I have an 89 Firebird, and an 89 Camaro Iroc-Z with 383 Stroker. Good fun for on the road.

My wife's 2004 Honda Odyssey is awesome!

Actually, that vehicle is the source of much stress in our relationship. I bought it because I thought it made sense and she hated it from the moment I drove it home from the dealership. Now that I have my jeep she feels that it's time for her to be able to get what she wants. Guys, never buy a minivan for your wife, even if you think it makes economical and practical sense.

I have vowed to never own one. I can easily fit 2 kids, a dog, and enough crap for vacation in our Grand Cherokee. And since I don't have the kids yet.. easy livin' until that day comes.

I think that statement ought to read, "Guys, never buy your wife a vehicle without consulting her first." The same goes for any large purchase, really, but even more so if you expect your wife to use it everyday. That's kind of like buying a new house without having her look at it first...

I love all cars, but my dream car is a Superformance 427 Cobra with the Roush 427R in baby blue (yeah, I have thought about this a lot)

you've never driven one I take it.

Those old vette's do nothing very well...except sitting in a showroom.

We used to work on them at the suspension shop I worked at...that was the only car that when it came in for an alignment we'd say "its an hourly rate"...however long it takes to align determines how much its gonna cost". The alignment bolts for the rear toe get undercoated over by virtually everyone, and then you get to battle with the 40 yrs of rust (and I live where rust doesn't happen)...those cars are good for nothing IMO.

Actually, I've done that too. But, in my defense in both instances we had both researched the vehicles and she knew what I was doing, she just didn't like it. With the house, we had to buy a house in a limited time and unfortunately her dad was having some major surgery at the time out of state. The first time she actually saw the house herself was closing day. Fortunately she liked the house, I'm the one that hated it.

I'm not sure you've actually read my post. I said I liked the way they LOOK. I said nothing about performance, owning one, or wanting to own one. I just like the way they look.

Thanks! I figured it would make a funny bumper sticker since "chadwick" seems to have entered the forum language in a number of threads. I just didn't want to have a signature that was blatantly advertising my online store. (Although I will be making more Jeep stuff other than bumper stickers ... when I get the time!)

Well, if you want to get down to it... your post actually didn't say the only thing you liked was the looks. But that's fine.

I read
"as far as other cars go, the only one I've ever really taken a liking to is the 1978 Corvette Stingray."

then
"There's just something about that look I really like." which identifies the looks as something you like. Its not inclusive, but not exclusive either....

but yes, I read your post.

Thanks, and have a great day.

I sold my old vette just recently had it for about 3 years, never had any problems other than wear and tear, ran good, looked real good, held its value well. No problem working on it if you know how...Can't really ask for anything more. Only problem I ever had was it was hard for me to get in and out of it and that wasn't the cars fault.

growing up we had a sliver fiero and I loved it, I now have a buddy who has a ("67" I think) bug and it bit me, so I think that might be my new second toy ... I already found the one I want!

Man, I'm jealous of all of you with those cool other cars. I do love the Fiero for some reason. I was looking through the paper the other day and saw an old CJ-5 for sale for about 4 grand. I told my wife I thought we should buy it...got the no-no on that one. She still wants to get rid of that damn minivan first for some reason.
