What are your plans for it?? Having a better idea of where you are going might lend itself to better project names.

well. Not a hole lot right now. Gonna do a bunch of body work (rust) and finish the engine swap (to a 4.0), then home made hi- clearance fenders, front and rear, then some time, link it and axle swaps... speed of project all depends on money...

oh and this is my first jeep, so hopefully i'm a fast learner when it comes to fabrication... but i do have ppl i the know- how

The best bit of advice ever given to me about fabrication is don't worry if you mess it up. A true fabricator can fix mess ups.

I do charge to fix people's mess ups. Sometimes twice what it would have cost to have me do it right in the first place.

Naming another persons jeep is like naming someones kid. Do you have any ideas so far?

nice I'm taking out the back seat and putting the tank back there and build in some permanent storage so i'll probably have a more 'fastback' style cage

Let's take that a step further, Ccain.......let's call it Project Astro-Glide!?!
Would be a fitting name for a Jeep project, don't you think?

(EDIT) Yeah, that just happened.

Andy, are you going to go BIG with that YJ? What are your plans exactly, besides Rockwells, coilovers, and another 'Vette motor?

Good to hear. I'll watch your build with interest!

Are you still in Wichita these days?

Sorry, nvr....don't mean to hijack your thread...

You're kind of a crazy, lead-footed young person, right? Maybe you should call the Jeep "Project Incarceration"?
