Depends on the mood and what I'm doing. Costas, DG, or cute cheapy ones.
I had some Oakleys I really liked but they took too many rocks 4 wheeling and never got around to replacing them.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ when I'm working or need something I don't have to worry about bending or breaking. Oakley Crosshairs the rest of the time. Polarized lenses in both

I've gotten kind of a fetish lately about sunglasses. I keep finding ones I like and buying but never wearing them. I have several Oakleys generally available, two Oakley versions that are for military/veterans that I signed up to be able to buy, some Carrera sunglasses, a pair of King Baby ones that I got at their boutique in Vegas, several pairs of Morgenthal Fredericks, a pair of Maui Jim and a pair of Dragons.

If bright out my old Nike's, wrap around design and dark. Overcast or fishing my Maui Jim's. Next year I will retire the Nike's for a darker set of Maui Jim's. Best glasses I have ever owned.

I am a fan of the Maui Jims . I have a Kanaha pair that I strictly keep in the Jeep but I don't take them out for fear of loss or damage.

It's sort of like the watch thing. I bought my $60 Casio for function and not for some name that no one can see unless they have their nose 12" away from my wrist. Its atomic clock signal sync function makes it the most accurate watch I've ever owned.
x2 my all purpose sunglasses are from Walgreens. I believe the brand is called Solar Comfort and they are polarized and lightweight too. They're cheap and I don't mind treating them roughly or scratching.

My wife bought me a new pair of Flak Jackets about a month ago. No more "Made In USA" on the inside of the frame. Quality still seems to be there though.

Maui Jim only. I sold every major brand of sunglasses for ~6yrs while I was in college...
I still have 4 pair of Maui Jims. Great thing is, if you're a moron like me and break them, they will repair them for a small fee. I've done that a few times since graduating from college.

There are some other equally good brands, but none are superior to Maui Jims IMHO.

Whatever is cheap but they must be brown. I'm forgetful and have "blessed" random strangers with multiple expensive shades.

Oakley Scuderia Ferrari Tincans. Love them. This is the most comfortable set of sunglasses that I have owned. I wear these and Crosshairs. I know that there are other brands besides Oakley but they work for me.

If it wasn't for the fact that our sunglasses are covered under our benefits I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be wearing what I wear. Prescription or not and ours are not our benefits cover $350 per person every 2 years. No scam they believe in protecting the eyes. I luckily don't need a prescription yet.... I'm 43 and have been warned that age catches up with us. For now these sunglasses are amazing but very expensive.

Yeah.. my uncle never wore sunglasses his entire life and he developed melanoma of the retina. He bacame a test study at UCLA.. they saved his eye but goes to show you that good sunglasses are a must.

I spent an extra $100 on a new lens that MJ developed. I really don't care about the cost because they last 4-5 years if I don't sit on them.

$1.99 safety glasses at Harbor Freight. I use them on my bike too so if a rock hits them they "shouldn't" shatter. I find if I buy anything over $5, I lose them within a week. If I buy these, every 6 months they are too scratched to use so I spend another $2 for another pair. I like the way they wrap around to block the wind too.

Oakley Flak Jackets 1.0 Fire Iridium , Oakley Whiskers with Ice Blue Iridium Polarized, 1 pair of Oakley Whiskers Black lens, Oakley Pro M Frame "Sweeps" Fire Iridium. Not to mention all the cheap ones also. So .. mostly I wear the Ice Blue Whiskers. It depends on the mood and what I'm doing. If its a possibility of damage, Ive got cheap ones on. Wearing the Pro M's today though.
