Question What type of music?

We were talking at work about different types of music that we listen to and I was wondering what types y'all listen to while wrenching on the Jeeps or when just relaxing.

I listen to southern rock or hard rock with a little metal from time to time.

Mostly country, classic rock, and "Radio rock". I do listen to some oldies and some new age metal now and then.

I can have a good time and enjoy any music except rap, hip hop, R&B, or that electronic "dance" crap.

just my .02

Hard rock, country, rockabilly, some other stuff.

What was that movie? Office space?

Sweater vest dude cruising around in a Kitchen Jeep singing...I mean talking..to some 50 cent..zipping up the half doors and turning down the music pulling up to a red light...

Anything, just depends. I'll even listen to Mozart if the mood strikes me. I have a library card file of CDs ranging from country to alternative to acid to classical to rock to almost anything else.

No I don't. Someone took it.

BTW, it's been 3 months since I've seen a paycheck?

Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Chickdey...you're not alone. I mainly listen to Rap, Pop, Alternative, and Hard rock. One thing you won't find on my ipod is country. The gf likes to play disco music in the Jeep. I make her turn it down when we're places that people can hear it. I wouldn't want them to know that it was coming out of my Jeep.

Mostly electric blues.

NO rap, NO hip-hop, no "soul" music. No modern country (post 1975). No Lawerence Welk. Exept for polka, polka is ok. When there is a high enough BAL.

OH, and no 80's new wave, eww.

Seems we have some pretty eclectic people on this board. I also like all kinds of music. Lately I've been big into classic rock and blues (Stevie Ray Vaughn mostly). Before I gave my mustang to my brother, I listened to a lot of rap. I had two fosgate 12's and an 800w amp so it was PERFECT for rap. Neighbors didn't like that much though.

I don't like rap/hip hop and I'm not big on opera. Most other music is ok, depending on my mood.

Maybe I am just a hateful person than. Not only does rap/hip hop etc. give me an instant migrane, I become enraged at the wording, lack of artistry and skill, and the social influence some of the "Gangsta rap" has on our young ones. Maybe I am just over reacting like parents did with Rock back in the day though..who knows..

I can agree with you. But I listened to quite a bit of Christian rap. I like the beats and rhythms. Must be the Native American in me.

Is Hank III country ??

DOOM, baby, DOOOOOOMMMM !!!

No nu-metal, no Limp Bizkrap. I don't think rap should be, regardless of the background music.

hank III covers a few genres. he puts on a awesome live show that starts out counrty and gets heavier as the night goes on. i think he's the first country artist to get a parental advisory sticker on his cd.

yea, nu metal SUCKS, radio SUCKS.

I agree Active, I have been trying to make Odhinn get XM radio. Our stations here have just gone to the dogs.
