What would a TJ on a diet, drive like?

Just curious. Figure a stock TJ is 190hp/235lbs torque at 3200 and tips the scales at ~3800lbs(stock, not including MTRs or armor et)..

What would it drive like at 2200lbs? Somehow I dont think the 'ole 100#s for .1 works in this situation Would it be a drastic difference, or not really? What about if it was rounder and had a slanted windshield, would it make a huge difference?

I was just boored at work, thinking about puttin the jeep on a diet

Use a lessor octane, to help with the diet thing. A less fattening oil, is always a good idea. Should help with those undesired bulges, around the mid section.

LOL, thanks blu. I find if you stop eating everything but bannas&water, and work outside, 40lbs goes by real fast But seriously, would 1600lbs and a round windshield make a drastic diffrence in a 4x4?

well the first question is where do you plan on loosing the 1600 pounds at. obviouly you take out the transfer case and front axles and put in a 2x4 drive line then your milage will go up considerably

I think it would make a dramatic difference, I feel a considerable difference just taking the top and doors off.

There are far too many numbers in your initial post sir, I'm going to have to disregard it and just say you're stuck with a TJ with a fat ass.
