Do you wish your garage was bigger than your house. I have a 2500 sq.ft. home with a tiny garage 24x24 and its packed with quads and Polaris Ranger and all my woodworking tools, camping gear, and tons of misc.stuff. What are builders thinking when they build homes anymore.
LOL well, I built a 1500 sqft house, with 4 attached garages, 2 up and 2 down. Upper garage has the mower in one side, and the ole ladies cherokee in the other...downstairs has my truggy and the other side is my dually. Then my shop is 60x100 filled with 2 paint booths and all my fab tools...plus a 97 F350, 68 Crewcab F350, 59 Ranch Wagon, 79 F350, 94 wrangler, 88 wrangler, 93 wrangler tub, 40 foot gooseneck trailer, and tons and tons and tons of parts. Sure is gonna suck moving all the crap in a few years when I build something else
Ya, my tiny garage is filled with kids toys...bikes, scooters, Barbie Wrangler, roller blades and barely enough room for the wife's minivan and my Wrangler. I would be happy with just another stall in the garage. Then I would like to have my own home theater room, workout room, kids play room...well, there's a lot of things I would like to have.
No garage but I do have a nice driveway and a porch to store all my crap... man I need a garage
2002 TJ, 3" RCD coil springs, 1" body lift, 32" BFG AT KO's, 15X10 Cragar Soft 8's, Rocky Mount Discos, Skyjacker Nitro 8000's, new Rugged Ridge soft top (VERY LOUD!!!!). PowerAid throttle body spacer, AIRAID CAI, DYNOMAX Super Turbo CATBACK.
Rocking the country music through a Sony Xplod head unit (iPod/iPhone compatible) 300W Dual amp, 10" Pioneer sub in the back.
My dads garage is 40'back by 20'wide by 16'high with full size garage door (about 15tall by 18wide). Then there's a regular size single car garage attached to the side and a 30x12 shop/pool bath/guest bedroom attached to the other side... Oh the big garage has a single car size door on the back too. Plus the house garage, a regular 2car plus 1car...
That's stuffed with a big truck, 23'boat, pontiac, bikes a crap load of other stuff for camping and boating and whatever else, and soon to be my Jeep...
My father's garage is actually bigger than his house, he's got a '61 t-bird, '82 vette, and a model A reproduction in it, and a '42 willy's pickup and a 80's blazer/bronco/? sitting behind it because he ran out of room inside. I've told him about 500 times that the willy's goes in the garage and the vette goes out back, but he won't listen

I live in an apt, but the garage at my moms is FULL with my hard top, tools, buddy's 2.5" lift we pulled off, my back seat, random pieces off my jeep and boxes of things that wont fit in my place. gotta love parents
A computer beat me at chess once, but it was no match for my kickboxing skills.
One bay for my wife's car, one for the pool table, and the last for all my tools, hunting equipment, lawn and yard equipment, bikes, Garage TV, Frig, microwave, and anything else that makes a man cave fit for man.
I built a 990 sqft garage with 12ft ceilings [to hold lifts and stacks] to accompany the two car garage at the house. STILL too small and I still have not moved out of the 1800 sqft shop that is now 20 miles from home and office [it only has 3.5 cars in it right now].
As pointed out above they can never be too large. And, after pouring concrete for the new toybox i saw a really nice PEX plumbing arrangement that flows hot water in the concrete for heated floors. AFTER!
