Whats next?

Well it looks like I could be out of a job.................and soon too. The company I'm working for is having some troubles. I'd really like to throw in the towel, my body is completely trashed from too many years of construction work. My knees are gone, compressed disk's in my back and my right elbow is blown out. So hard work is out. Man, I'm really tired of the fight. So whats next?
I need a cushy job where someone pays me to just hang around. That way I could have plenty of time for working on the jeep and playing.

Ha! That's so ironic. I'm in the same boat as you. It looks like corporate America is popping into my little world and I sense changes are near. I'll loan you my brand spankin new resume software I bought today.

Hey I'll settle for that if I don't have to work weekends.

Well, construction being what it is (not very technical) I can be back at work some where in a week. I have a vast electrical background and have been working as a construction supervisor/project manager for 3 years now. The const sup/mgr jobs are great I think I'll keep doing that. I've really enjoyed it so far.

You know what would be fun, an off road shop. Sell and install. I've alway wanted to do that. The down side is competition, it'd be hard to break in to the market anywhere.

I could do that. Sell them on all the parts then ship their Jeep out to Phoenix and have someone else do all the work. It would be more of a logistics job than actual fab work.

Do you still have that blinged out Kenworth? At least you'd have something to do the towing with!

Lets start investing in those DVD rental machines in drug stores and stuff. We could take over the world.

Best of luck, Pointy. I hope you can find something that will pay you what you're worth (lots), without wearing you out. I need to find something else too.
