Hey Cavey....was driving the TJ nekkid tonight with my son, and "Superstition" came on the radio. My son had read this thread and we both squealed and cranked it up in your honor! Bobbin' our heads the whole way home!

1. "Ride of the Valkyries" by Richard Wagner (prelude to Act III of the opera Die Walkure, also used in the soundtrack to Apocalypse Now), or 2. "Dogs" by Pink Floyd.

This kinds of questions are killers for me... my music library stands at 61.1 DAYS of music without a repeat, 20,238 individual songs.

Right now (and this may change by tonight)

Louder Than Words (Celldweller)
ULTRAnumb (Blue Stahli)
Rockin The Suburbs (Ben Folds)
and right now a bunch of recent music by Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin seem to be running a lot. (Albums: Indestructible and Asylum)

If I'm in a patriotic mood...

Where The Stars And The Stripes And The Eagles Fly (Aaron Tippin) GREAT SONG
Days of America (Blackhawk)

Beyond this, nearly anything by Journey, Rush, Van Halen, Creed or Def Leppard works in a pinch.

I don't really do theme SONGS, more like theme PLAYLISTS.

Forget your age... that's a classic. When my boys are growing up with the Star Wars soundtracks, I was listening to my dad's vinyl of the Magnificent Seven, The Vikings and Victory at Sea.

HAHAHA Damn you, Hiker... and Steve Jobs, and my Dad (God rest his soul) found the Magnificent 7 on iTunes, and then had to have a slew of others, had to draw the line at an old Marty Robbins album my dad played into the ground, although I was tempted. Bought his version (and Johnny Cash's version) of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" though. I'm a sick puppy.

Well Jeff.. it's really hard not to love some of that great old music.

On a side note, my son just started a job as a high school orchestra director.. so, of course, I'm already bugging him to see if he can add "The Magnificent Seven" to one of his upcoming concerts .
