What's your poison...

...beer, wine, champaign, whisky...?

What brand?

Mine is Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whisky with a little ice and a dab of purified water.

So far my "go to" bourbon is Knob Creek with Old Grand-Dad 114 working on taking it's place. I'm still working on finding my "favorite" pour. That said I'm not really brand specific but I tend to stay away from bottom shelf whisky for anything other than a mixer.

gin. i drink bombay, and prefer the clear bottle (not sapphire, but ill drink it too). i get a coffee cup, add ice, and gin. occasionally a little vermouth and some bitters and call it a martini, but usually, just over ice.

other than that, beer. preferably lone star light, but occasionally dos xx.

I will second the Knob Creek. I love breaking the wax and opening a new bottle. I take mine straight with two ice cubes. I like it cold. I break out to single malt sometimes too.

I like my beer too. I picked up some Becks light about six months ago and it has been my favorite. Decent taste and about 90 calories a bottle.

Jagr and Rolling Rock are my drinks of choice. I have been drinking a little Crown for a change.

All depends on my mood. I sometimes like foo-foo chick drinks, and sometimes Jack or the Skipper does me. Really not a beer person.

No hard stuff since I downed most of a 5th of Wild Turket one night on my birthday in Germany. Funny, this fat girl in the bar always smiled at me after that.I know I took a cab back to the barracks.

Now, I can go for a tequila shot now and then. Beer of choice is Land Shark brewed in Jacksonville, FL. Taste a lot like Carona but doesn't need the lime at all.

Only the best Tennessee Whiskey for me.

Me and my Pops in front of a bottled barrel on our tour of the distillery. I'm on the left.

Ido like a taste of the Rockies now and then.

It's an awesome tour. You should definatly go. No free samples though as Lynchburg is a dry county.

I think this is better suited in the Redneck thread.

Single malt.
But basicaly I like it all!
Make my own wine, beer, and I've heard of moonshine.

The only mixed drinks I have on occasion are clam diggers and bloody mary's.

Any good Bourbon - neat, in a snifter. Current favorite is Evan Williams Single Barrel

Any good Beer with IBU > 80

Mixed would be: Jack Rocks, Captain 'n Diet Coke, or a Margarita

It all depends on my mood, where I am, and what I'm eating.

I didn't like it at first but once I cut out all the high carb beer and Gatorade out of my diet I lost 10 pounds. You get used to it after awhile.

Besides, Jesus drank wine didn't he?
