Wheelin' Music

Just got the new StaticX CD in time for a wheelin trip on Saturday. They make for some great wheelin music. That along with Voodoo Glow Skulls, Deftones, Soufly and Sepultura are some of my favorites.

What does everyone else listen to while Jeepin? I am sure that this topic gets beat to death more than any other, but I didn't see it here yet, so thought I would get the list going for some good ideas.

Eric

I listen to the engine revving, the armor and skids doing their job, and listening for anything to break... all over the sound of the CB chatter while doing obstacles.

Sometimes I have music on low enough, but it is usually whatever is on my ipod (always playing in shuffle mode) or whatever XM channel I happen to be on.

I am with you erickpl, I listen to the motor, and the sounds of stones crunching..........lol. I don't like the distraction of music, when wheeling.

I love rockin out when I'm driving....of course there are times when I don't want to hear anything but the wind and the engine.

Yeah - when I hit a tough spot, the music gets turned down. But for the sections in between - it is usually up loud.

I'll turn it down if I need a spot or if I think i'm going to flop it. But otherwise it's usually Korn, Lamb of God, Pantera, etc....Anything loud and abusive.
