Update ....went to Fleet Farm today and the shelves are nearly bare.

Even .22 rounds are gone.

After piling things up for over 30 years I have been selling...a lot.
I've sold enough 223 ammo, AR magazines, Ar lowers, once fired brass, etc to buy a new Kimber, give my wife a grand and still have enough cash left over to buy a couple more pistols if I decide to.
I figure I am making 200 to 500% on almost everything I have sold.

No I don't. I wouldn't get in any hurry to buy anything but a rifle/lower receiver and magazines. Those will be the items that get the focus if they try any type of legislation to ban anything. Prices on the other stuff will return to normal levels fairly soon unless there is a threat of new legislation being passed.

I'm holding out for a month or two. I don't live in the NE, and there aren't enough votes in the Senate to get out of filibuster, much less any "bans".

It is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

You can't find a box of 9mm in Tulsa. You have to buy it online. We checked everywhere. Sold out. Guns too. There's t shirts in the gun cases here.

I have plenty of powder and brass, just need to pick up more bullets. Waiting until I can get a ride to the store. Still have plenty loaded and not too worried. This will pass just like it did last time. People will horde right now and when the fear passes the prices will drop down because the demand won't be as great. Then I will restock.

I just wish i could find some (afford some) to target shoot with, as it is im pretty much limited to .22s now. I dont hoarde ammo and usually only buy more once ive run out of something but its hard to find anything now. I like to shoot once a week weather permitting and I like to shoot 9mm .25 .38spl .223 .32(really hard to find) etc. just about every time I go out but centerfire ammo is just too expensive right now for that.

Luckily when I was younger my dad was on a gun buying kick and bought a couple of the sinister assault-looking rifles and gave them to me, otherwise I would be anxious to get one right now. I only have one hi-cap mag but thats enough for me since theyre collection pieces to me and not something id keep ready for self defense.

The only thing I have for protection is 6 rounds of .32long plus whatever old .22s are floating around in the bottom of my shooting bag... seems like im more optimistic than some here
