Sidney Crosby, with a close second of Kobe Bryant. I dated a girl who went to high school with him, and he's just as much of a jerk as you think he is.

Him too. He is a shining example of how nothing is pure and good in this world.

Altho he is a liar i look at it this way: He cheated in a sport that nobody pays attention to, but in turn raised over 500 million for a cause that everyone cares about. I'll forgive him for that reason.

I hate crosby, garnett, kobe, and james harrison

He did raise a lot of money, but through dishonesty.

What I hate is that he was the Great American Success Story. He got cancer, and was determined to not only beat it, but come out a stronger person. He gave hope to all cancer survivors, and he inspired millions with his courage and determination. He was an American that was the absolute best at what he did. He was a symbol of American courage and determination.

And it was all a lie. He not only made himself look bad, but the whole country look bad to the rest of the world, like we have to cheat to be successful.

When we start accepting the good a man does as a counterbalance to whatever bad things he does, we're starting down the wrong path. I have plenty of forgiveness in my heart, everyone screws up, but he did it willfully, knowingly, and then lied about it initially when caught. The measure of a man is not the good he does. The true measure of a man is what he does when people aren't looking.

And I wouldn't say I "hate" anyone, honestly. I just have a strong distaste for them.

Right now Lance is on top of the list, just edging out all of the players that take "dives". We have instant replay, we are gong to see every dive - seems pretty dumb to me.

How do you think Lance got cancer? Anyone remember Lyle Alzado?

That money that Lance Armstrong raised didn't go to cancer research, it went to the people that were in charge of the doping programs. The people who ran that doping program are at the head of all the doping programs in all of professional sports. Do you remember BALCO? I was once involved in pro sports and have witness what pro sports is really about. It's huge money and big business. Did you guys know pro sports brings in more revenues through betting than anything else? And because of this many games are fixed because of betting. Can you say Broncos Ravens game? Did you guys see the odds on that game? Do you know how many people bet on the broncos? Did you see how many people didn't bet on the Ravens? Let's just say the people who bet big on the Ravens are swimming in money and had a heads up! Anyways Lance is the one I hate the most. Have you read about how many lives and careers he ruined of the people who were coming out with info that he was doping? And now he confesses because he's banned and thinks coming clean will allow him to compete!

I don't know about "loving" to hate, but I strongly despise Michael Vick and would not be sorry to see him swung around by his feet to have his head smashed against the ground, or drowned in a bucket, or electrocuted in a swimming pool or any of the other inhuman things he did to those poor dogs while laughing about it.

In all fairness anyone who watches the NFL would know that the Ravens are more than capable of winning the SB. I thought so before the season started and have never changed my view. I dont pay attention to "odds" or "spreads", never had. But this years NFL hasnt had any consistantly elite teams and I picked the ravens to beat the Broncos.

I guess i shoulda bet on them

Everyone loves to bash on Lance Armstrong. I don't condone doping but be honest with yourself if you are familiar with the sport. If every winner in the last 100+ years was stripped of their title for doping or some other form of cheating....how many titles would be left? The sport is plauged with doping and always has been. Everyone just loves to point their finger at Lance because he was able to beat all the other cheaters 7 times in a row. Doped up or not he is still an amazing athlete. Role model...maybe not so much now. This is what happens when large amounts of money is involved. People put aside their morals and pride and do whatever it takes to get the edge.

I find nothing wrong with sports doping. It is nothing more than a enhancement to the activity, like extra butter on theater popcorn.

Agree with two posters above. Lance is not a role model. And I think that's the biggest reason behind public backlash is bc he set himself up to be one. But the actual blood doping isn't a big deal. It's well documented since the beginning of cycling. While it was cheating per the rules it didn't create a competitive disadvantage bc everyone was doing it. And unlike many forms of steroids it's not damaging to body. If Lance hasn't sold us a false image and hasn't attacked and destroyed lives of people who were critical of him during his career then his fall wouldn't have been so far.

Totally agree with this. Every one of his major rivals in the era were also roided to the max and so was he. Pantani, Ulrich, Zulle, Vinokourov, Basso, you name him, he was doped. Just turns out that Armstrong was the best rider of all the roided up riders. Same thing with Clemens and Bonds. Every baseball player from the 90s to early 2000s were all juiced up. These guys were still the best among their peers. Peers being the key point here, meaning guys at the same level, and thats either from natural talent or "enhanced" talent. All of these guys would probably still have been at the top of their sport without drugs, but if everyone else doesnt play on a level field, why should they? Im not condoning it, but I know why they did it
