I've thought about those hand loading presses before. Are they worth it? And what calibers can they do? Just depends on the dies? and where is a good place to buy supplies? (bullets, power, sometimes brass, primers, etc.)

BTW that stainless Sig is around $1200... I think I'm going to get it. I can have the Nitron & Stainless and carry them in a double shoulder rig. I shall call them Cain & Abel.

When I get it, I'll have a set of woods grips for sale, cause I don't like the way they feel. I'll get custom grips made instead for both of the Sigs.

With the single stage presses, you can do just about any caliber you want, you just have to get a set of dies for each caliber you want to reload.
Yes, they are worth it. We saved enough, just from reloading 30-30, to more than pay for all of our gear for all of the calibers we shoot.

We get most of our supplies at Cabela's or Sportsman's Warehouse . A Cabela's just opened up about 20 minutes from the house so we get the good prices by buying in bulk there. We also snag what we can find at gunshows, if they have good prices. You can also check at gun stores. Not all of them carry reloading supplies but we found one where the owner is a good guy and will make us good deals.

I was thinking that myself! IDK... Cain killed Able but I'm thinking the Stainless would be Cain because it's the pretty one. BTW I would polish that gun to a BRIGHT shine... If I bought the stainless it would surely become my favorite, stealing the spotlight from my Nirton.

I've never seen a factory gun I would consider worth $1200 when there are much less expensive options, but then I'm a cheap bastard.

The Sig I have now was $890 and my Kahr MK40 was $920. $1200 IS a bit more but not much. I don't have a problem spending that on a gun. And I'll get it cheaper than that. I have a SLIGHT hook-up. And I'm requesting the papers for my FFL (Federal Firearms License) so I can get it at cost when I get it.
The Nitron I currently own w/ night sights

I'm FAR from spoiled, but I DO have a particular love of a fine weapon. And I save for them. Months at a time to buy just one. I have Hogue grips on my S&W 686 .357mag and they are the most comfortable grips I have. In fact my Browning Buckmark has them too come to think of it. You'll see my Sig and my Kahr at the Jamboree. I wouldn't leave home without them.

Wood grips ARE sexy... Too bad Sig hasn't mastered the art of thin wood grips... BTW the Nitron can take wood grips too.

I don't dig the stainless/wood look on autos. Too pimp. Pimping is for rides and cribs - not gats. Guns are tools - they aren't supposed to be pretty. Something is too pretty, and you don't want to scratch it or shoot it too much. Get the one that is business-like, not the one that screams "Look at me!"
