Well I finally got the stainless Sig! I ordered it yesterday and I should have it in my grubby mitts on Monday!

It's 50/50 cause you can't chose between two fine guns likes that. And I didn't cheat. Vote for it and tip the scales.

Hmm. I dunno. Where is the option for the equinox?

I am contemplating this as my next pistol purchase. It is down to this one and the new HK45.

So is the HK.

I do consider appearance when purchasing a firearm. However, it is the last thing on the list. I'm just gonna have to hold each to find out which I like better. Hoping to get there tomorrow.

After careful consideration I'm gonna go with your current pistol over the stainless. The stainless just doesn't do it for me. Maybe with the hogue grips it would be better. Just not big into the wood grips.

You can't go wrong with either. I just like Sigs a lot. Most accurate semi-auto I've had the pleasure of shooting. The HK doesn't fit my hand as well as the Sig does. That's just personal though.

You have some 1911s so do you really need another .45?

I'm trying to drop some weight of my current carry piece and gain a couple more rounds. 8 rounds sucks for competitive shooting. You know how it is. Can't really be happy with anything we've got. I don't just have 1911s. I have a couple glocks and some other assorted tupperware in there. I just scored big yesterday on a P22 NIB for 200 cash.

Have you seen the Sig P250, its pretty cool because it has a removable trigger system that you can put in different frames and change barrels. Best part is you can change calibers too.

I did notice that and I have a very hard time adjusting to that train of thought. I don't really care for any firearm that was designed to be multiple calibers. I prefer my pistols, more specifically, to be designed for 1 caliber only. It is a pretty neat idea though.

Yes I've seen it. It's awesome but I like metal frames. And with most Sigs you can change calibers, the only advantage to THIS one is you can go from full size to sub compact in the same gun. My 229 has a .40 and a 9mm barrel for it. And the 9mm barrel will work in my newest Sig 229 too.

I'm buying the Houge black anodized aluminum grips for it BTW

Right underneath the Titanium grips.

I know what you mean with the carry gun. I get mad at the Kahr MK40 I had and got a S&W 649 bodyguard. A J frame .357

I had P22 and I sold that one too. Jammed WAY too much, even with good ammo. A friend of mine has one and with no trouble ever with it. Good luck with it. They look awesome and they are a blast to shoot. $200 NIB is a GREAT price too!

Those grips look pretty slick. I've always invested in the hogue wrap arounds for all my 1911s.

I've had a couple friends with the P22s in the past. They really loosen up after 6-7k rounds. So I figure tomorrow I will buy some bulk and grab a couple friends and go to town.

Bi-Tone

Ooh - that is purdy. Wish HK parts and mags were more reasonable. Also heard lot of horror stories about their CS.
