I run a Warn HD9500i, I don't think they make it any more.. but its been great.. very fast line speed, only thing I don't like but have gotten used to is it will continue to spool in for a few seconds after you release the switch. No big deal just took getting use to. If I had to buy one today I would get the xd9000i, decent price, been around for years.

I have heard great things about the new Warn 9.5ti which is the replacement for the HD9500i. I am saving my pennies right now to get one for my money pit, er I mean Jeep. They are a little pricey though...

I have been looking at Mile Marker. I know they are not a Warn, but for $400 why not. If they are good enough for govt. work then they are good enough for my pile.

I have the pennies saved.

Now all I need to do is figure out how to hide it from my wife.

Do you think she would believe me if I told her it came from a sponsor???

I made the mistake of telling her what one cost.

Sure, sponsors show up with new top-of-the-line Warn winches all the time in my neighborhood... Just have her call me, I will tell her!

don't cheap out, get a good one, a cheap one will eventually leave you stranded when you need it most...
