I'll post some more as soon as I find my cd's with all the digitals of the bike on them. I've got lots of pics of the motor when we took it apart to replace the cams/lifters, etc. Lots of goodies inside the old girl. Runs better than a new one, too. It's fun to blow these new bikes off the road up in the mountains. There are alot of posers out here in southern California that only ride to show off for the girls, so they're easy prey for me.

Sweet bike - I love that color scheme. I looked at an R1 but decided against it - I was pretty sure that I would end up with some hefty speeding tickets so I bought the ZX6R.

The insurance isn't bad on a cruiser but is horrendous on a sport bike. I only pay for liability on my ZX6R - I figure that if I wreck it, I probably won't want to get on it again anyways. $400 vs $2000 (with a $1000 deductible). My only concern with liability only, is someone stealing it.

Thanks. It's a fun bike. One of my old riding buddies from Miami had a ZX6R and I rode it all the time. I loved that bike. Hope you're having fun with yours. I've got a ride planned for the weekend with a couple of cruisers. Should have a good time in the mountains.

I looked high and low for a bike, but every one that I sat on was far too big. One foot on the ground the other way in the air. So I gave up. (plus, my balance sucks ever since my head thing, so probably not the best idea anymore)

I'm 5'4" so I was in the same boat. What the dealer doesn't tell you is that you can have them lowered. I lowered mine 2" and can almost stand with both feet flat - it's close enough. You shouldn't have a problem with height if you're looking for a cruiser. I rented a Harley Dyna Low and rode it without any problems at all.

I just realized for the first time that the only pics I have of my bike is when it was in 100 pieces replacing the spark plugs. But here is one of those pics.

But it looks just like this assembled!!

I've got a 1988 Honda 50 that I play around with. Its a wheelie monster. ...and if I do dump it, I can pick it up with one hand.
I've been riding dirtbikes since I was 4, so I've had several of them, but this is the only one I've kept.

I sold my 2004 Triumph Daytona 600 a while back.
It was Triumph Racing Yellow with a carbon fiber slip on and a factory race tuned ECU. 105hp - 99 lb/ft torque, 47 tooth rear sprocket, HID projector headlights, Pirelli Diablo Super Corsas

I really miss this bike, especially when I see my riding gear hanging in the closet and my helmet on the shelf.
