USAF Medic 85-89. From 87-89 I flew Medevac out of Rhein Main AB, Germany. Persian Gulf, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Saudi, all those fun places. Charlie Wilson's war, Operation Earnest Will, Persian Gulf Escort Service.

Shoulda stayed in - most of my buddies did. I would have retired 5 years ago and getting that good Gubmint cheese.

I am in the US Coast Guard
my brother is also in the Coast Guard
(We get over looked and judged because not a lot of people are familiar with what our missions are but I love risking my life everyday to save others and I enjoy stopping Drug Smugglers and illegal immigrants from entering our country. And we have had a part in every war to date including saving over 500 marines at Point Cruz, Guadalcanal, on September 27, 1942) Just a lil USCG history!

and My Ex was Army Airborne Ranger

Happy Veterans Day!!! Thank you all for joining me in serving for this great country!

Marines

I am proud to say I personally saved the lives of 50 Marines!

I showed them how to find the chow hall.

Was AF for about 8 months. Loved it but hated my job. Damn recruiter. I went in open electronics. Got stuck with PMEL. Got out as fast as I could. Would have loved para-rescue.

I'm one of the "my family served and my time is coming up" people...
One grandpa fought at Iwo Jima as a Marine... not sure of rank... but he received a purple heart.
My other grandpa was a marine and still recalls the days of fighting against the Chinese.
