I've see the sorry look of 18 year old girls in their boyfriends G6 looking at me thinking "Where have you been".Girls like the freedom and ruggedness of jeeps. Those girls are the real deal. I even had a girl the other day talk to me about how her dad use to own a CJ and all the fun stuff they did in it and how she loves mine and blah blah blah. I've actually gotten a lot of numbers from my jeep. That's why I need 4 doors.
It is the absolute truth. I get more attention when driving My Wifes YJ.
I'm 54 and have had girls half My age starting conversations!
I get the same in My Camaro convert, but more in the jeep!
Love the attention, but WTF, I'm 54!
Wife and I get a kick out of the stories!
(She doesn't let Me drive alone anymore)
Some people are way too judgmental. Lol. "Anyone who drives (insert car here) is a douche !!!"
Anyone can say the same about the majority of Jeepers with their lifts, winches, etc. that work 9 - 5 at an office. Someone can say a lot of Jeep owners are posers & they'd be right.
I don't have a sports car but I have other vehicles that I literally spend 7 straight days detailing & each night I kiss it good night then the next morning I'm driving topless/doorless in my Jeep. I don't have the energy to judge random cars & their owners, .
Yeah, that's not fair for sure.
I had one guy friend who was really excited for me which has been great. And all my friends have been cheerful or supportive about it.
But I'm starting to notice a few guys seem to be jealous and are giving me a hard time... if I wear a shirt or hat the same color as the Jeep, or insulting me about the mods I've added so far are not macho enough, and after I've washed and waxed it (it's NEW) they're always having to say it should be muddy or scratched or trashed.
(Of course it's been muddy!)
I'm simply not used to having a vehicle that gets so much attention but the negative attention is a new one on me.
Sure sounds like jealousy to me,, or could be some kind of meat head problem.
