My old dog ate a sock whole once...I found it when I was mowing the back yard and the entire sock shot out of the pile of crap I ran over.

We caught our cat eating Miracle Grow the other night...

My dog is a black lab....
He's eaten:
1 flip flop
the couch in the basement
1 pair of my underwear
3x condoms (there is now a lid on the garbage can)--he too pooped them out whole
a bowling pin (my mother-in-law works at a bowling alley)
my childhood teddybear (my mom sewed him back together)
2x comforters for my bed
numerous blankets i stuck in his kennel

He's 3 now, and it's seriously like someone turned a switch off, he doesn't chew anything anymore and doesn't have to be created when we go to work. I wuv him

Once my cat ate a rubber band and I made my mom pull it out of her butt when it got stuck

the weirdest things our dogs have gotten are the christmas ornaments. brandy takes them right off the tree, doesnt matter what kind either. wooden ones, plastic ones, metal, glass. she ate 6 Styrofoam apples, one a year, for the first 6 years we had her. skyler likes small animals, rabbits, squirrels, rats. although she doesnt eat them, she plays with them. throws them around in the air till they stop twitching. then brings them to me. im sure she would love to go after something bigger, but she only weighs 35 pounds, so i dont let her. sofie likes to hide socks, i was cleaning my room a couple weeks ago, and found all of my socks under my couch. turns out she was taking them from the laundry room and sleeping with them under my couch till she got to big to fit there

my buddies mom trained their shepherd mix to find the condoms. kinda like how the drug dogs find the drugs. that way she would know when he started having sex with the girl he was dating. it was real funny one night when she and the dog were in the kitchen, we hear her say go find it, the dog runs upstairs, into his bathroom, roots around in the trash and runs back downstairs into the kitchen. then she told the dog to take it to randy, and saddie(the dog) walked over and dropped the used condom in his lap. i laughed so hard i almost peed myself

a 2'x2' patch of drywall (over 1 month period)
lots of carpet
1 leg of an antique dresser
2 window sills
1 10lb ham -raw
1 $20 bill (shredded it like kleenex)
2 4lb tubs of margarine (we induced vomiting the second time, much better than letting it go through the whole system!)
1 entire roll of flux core lead solder (again induced vomiting per recommendation of vet)

Had a 1/4 wolf (rest husky/malamute) that would kill and eat anything that got into the yard. Found parts of possums, cats, (usually find the bits of tails), chickens, and a small dog of unknown breed. She would also dig 4 foot deep pits to sleep in.

Had a pair of German shepherds that feasted on a 5 pound fruitcake that came in the mail. Opened the tin, peeled the plastic off, ate, and pooped colorful for a couple of days....festive. (didn't fit in the mailbox, so the postal worker or UPS guy dropped it over the fence onto the ground).

A whole rum cake

5 bananas

5 pounds of unpeeled shrimp

1 pound of giant scallops

All in one sitting

He was a 12 year old chocolate lab.

I had a Rottweiler that ate a sticky hand and when my wife took her for a walk, she did her business and it got stuck, so it was waving at her.

My dog now, Lab/Terrier mix, ate a pair of binoculars, tv remote, animated Chiuahua (holiday singing type), shoes and his favorite is stuffed animals. He pulls all of the stuffing out of them.

Among other things, my Pitbull has eaten a 2 pound bag of bite-size 100 Grand bars, with wrappers. His poop looked like it had gold nuggets in it.

Did he get sick? I thought chocolate was really bad for dogs - sometimes deadly.
