Workout music

What do you all listen to when working out? It doesn't have to be with the weights, it can be when walking, jogging, running; any type of cardio.

I go to the gym everyday and have lately been on an Audioslave kick. Usually I do some classic AC-DC, or some Metallica. Something motivating without being too crazy.

Just curious on what everyone listens to when working out.

I'd give it an 8.6 on the creep-o-meter. The group is actually a rather sweet German couple, and I have had several friends comment separately that their music is a favorite for working out.

Warning: biking with headphones on is not recommended. If you insist, however, choose a long winding country road that you know very well.

I used to edit together the music for my gym so I've worked out to all sorts of stuff. I liked the mixes for the adult fight classes and the teen classes. They preferred the really heavy pounding music, though I had to edit out the language for the teens. Drove my boss nuts that they preferred my music to his.

I like a mixture of different paces for heavy bag workout, but for cardio, I use a straight cardio mix that I bought.

If you at all like hip-hop and dance/house music, check out Girl Talk - Feed The Animals. Its one full album length track that is all re-mixed together.

Track 4 Fan Video Mix

You can download it all here for whatever price you want - GIRL TALK - FEED THE ANIMALS - ILLEGAL ART

I really like putting this album on when working out at home, really makes the time fly by. If you listen to the full album, you'll hear some really interesting mash-ups.

Or you can listen to all the tracks on the mypsace page - http://www.myspace.com/girltalk
