I know, growing up in Michigan as I did, I have been and remain a fan of the teams there.

I spent a looong time being a Wings fan with no payoff (or playoff) but that all changed in 97 (finally) <oh and in 98/2002/2007>! Tigers treat me ok. But being a Lions fan. Ugh. I still am but jeez.

I know all about the losing teams as well, being a Islanders fan...ugh. Are these guys even hockey players anymore..wtf??
