That is a weird knock off. Once a jeeper always a jeeper!

I've seen some of the older trollers, they look almost identical to older jeeps but the grill slots are horizontal, I'd have to do some research but I think Brazil was the one place ford was able to get the rights to the jeep name. I'd bet if you searched troller bought the old ford/jeep tooling to make them. I don't understand how the author can say this new design hearkins <sp> back to earlier wranglers? Are you kidding me? Has he ever seen a wrangler from his office in Chicago, or while riding his commuter train to work? He obviously has a disdain for SUV's if not all personal vehicles, what single person says to him/herself I'm in the market for a vehicle, but I'm obviously only one person. And I have no plans of ever having a family, or friends and all these vehicles are obviously built for up to 4 people, what do you have in a one door single seat model?

I'll be honest with you, when I came across it, I liked it. If it had the Ford name and backing, I would buy one. I love my Jeep, but some REAL competition would be good.

With Jeep setting news sales records regularly and not able to meet production, I cant understand how people continue to say there is no market there...

Seen older Troller. Not impress. Not as capable off road as stock Wrangler.
Every car on a dealer will find a buyer. Look at the smart and small Fiat cars.

It's not a bad looking vehicle, the one pictured looks more like an FJ to me than a wrangler the old square headlight T4 look just like a YJ in my opinion. I have a horrible ford, I've had great ones in the past but the one I own now is a POS bought new in the first 4 years of ownership and only 35,000 miles it's needed the airconditioning system completely replaced twice, both front windows needed replaced. The exhaust although not rusty broke in half and needed welded back together. The transmission was recalled once, then broke down altogether and needed re-built currently it's under a recall because part of the steering can fail, the ball joints are going bad and need replaced. This thing needs more repairs than my 20 year old YJ which never gave me any trouble. So Ford backing to me is a joke. I'll stick with my wrangler. Sorry I vented about the ford to you, but it really is the absolute worst vehicle I ever owned, even more so than my 1980 VW rabbit I bought in high school for $100. Ever write a really long post and then delete it because nobody cares, this is one of those except I'm sending it.

They just need to rehash the original Bronco and not make it look ugly as sh*t and not design it for mall crawlers with IFS.

If the top and doors come off I'd take a look. I love my jeep but I'm not die hard loyal to the brand.

Yep, that isn't a real Ford. It is a Mazda with a Ford nameplate. It was Fords answer to the Honda CR-V.

I have always been a Ford truck and Mustang fan and the Ford Ranger was a great little truck.

I will always love my Wrangler more and will always own one, but given the chance, I could own another Ford truck or Mustang.
