Wrangler Forum T-shirts

I have had several requests for Wrangler Forum t-shirts. In order to get these made we need to get the designs made. Do we have any graphics artists in the house that would want to work on a project like this?

Can you all post some cool looking Jeep logos/t-shirts for other clubs so we can get inspired and then create our own? Please post them to this thread and together we can work through making a new design for our tees.

Andy

Andy, I might help with the design part.

Would need some specifics from you.

Number of colors in the design?
Color of the shirts?
Silk screen or embroidery?
File format for the images?
One sided design or Logo on chest, design on back?

A couple of the groups that I am in have a design contest.
Winner gets a free shirt!
Usually It's a single thread with people posting their design ideas and after a set time (wek or two) then it it put to a vote for the winning design.

It's a lot of fun and you get some outstanding (and sometimes pretty silly) design ideas.

Winning a free shirt is fun too!

White shirt is always easy. or gray...

I'm piss poor in artistic stuff, so I'll leave that to the more talented peeps here.

I'd buy one or three. unless its ugly.

White would be ok if you never planned on wearing it wheelin. Otherwise it would get too dirty, too fast and be ruined.

Good idea on a contest for designs. I say we do that. I will post that contents in a few days.

In the meantime can you all post some logos you like and what you like about them?

Here are some examples:

One thing I know for certain is we can't touch anything with Jeeps' trademark so it needs to be unique and cool. What do you think should be requirements? Then we can put together the contest with clear instructions on what we are looking for.

I'll buy one. But please, less of a literal logo and more of a fun image. Zombies. Cartoon jeeps. I have no idea. But it should be more about an emotional connection to a forum, than just a literal retelling of the name of the place.

Plus, it should be a shirt I wanna actually wear.

I agree with not using white t-shirts. Gray or maybe even black t-shirts would be good. As for design, there is a really cool design right here on WF.
With Silvergoat's permission, some variation of his design would be cool, I think.

Here is the thread it's from. Cartoon

Andy, one of the things you'll have to decide is how many colors you want on the shirts.
It makes a difference in how much it costs to produce them. It also makes a difference in the design. One, two, three, four colors or full color? Something that looks great in full color can look pretty awful in two colors.

I think that Silvergoats artwork is amazing, but I wouldn't buy a shirt with that on it for myself.

A couple of the reasons:
1) I'm not going to wear a shirt with some gal with her bewbies hanging out.
It would be great for the guys of course, but not for me personally. I'm not a prude, but if I'm going to wear a shirt with someone half naked on it, it had better be a man.

2)The vehicle running over the turtle, is just not "tread lightly" in any respect.

Some thoughts on design might be "What does Wrangler Forum" represent?
How do you want the forum to be viewed by the outside world?
What do you want people to think of when Wrangler Forum comes to mind?

Maybe a theme for the shirts?

I vote black...vintage style T-shirts so they nice and soft. Some tshirts are just too heavy weight.

A long sleeve T with the wrangler forum logo down the sleeve would look pretty cool. Sorry no ideas on what the main logo would look like. Maybe something small on the front left side of the chest and the main theme on the back.

i don't have any design ideas yet, but i think that the design should be more of a cartoon and maybe contain 2 or 3 jeeps (yj, tj, jk) so that there is no whining.

darn it, we always got be politically correct...

maybe we should design two shirts. One with a Black jeep, blood everywhere, deer tied to the roof, shotgun rack and of course round headlights. The 'ol squirrel tail hanging from the antenna to top it off. (Maybe incorporate the boobies somewhere?)

The second one could have an electric powered pink e-jeep with a flowery patterned soft top and those earth friendy tires like the golf carts have.
