Wwiii?

Looks like things are heating up with Russia! Georgia and Poland, current fighting and missile defense! We just may just get dragged into another war! What you take?

Stop buying LUKOIL gas and other products, Russian owned and more than likely part of the reason the Russians are so hot to get control of that pipleline. Gives them a strangle hold on gas, oil and LPG to Europe.

Since the Cold War never ended, I always knew the commies would go back to their wicked ways. Before Slick Willy downsized the military I know we could beat them, but smaller and spread out the way it is now it will be tough. In my opinion we're relying too much on technology and not on pure brute strength. Won't be any little "one year" tours this time.

Look at Russia's military. It's pathetic. They're a bunch of looters with marginal discipline. I'm sure if the price was right, you could probably buy their loyalty. Their planes couldn't hit anything they aimed at. You think they missed on purpose? Some of their planes were shot down, and by a little bitty country smaller than South Carolina, with an army the size of the NYPD.

I say invest in military stocks and bomb shelters. Looks like we are back to the Gulag days. I never had any faith the cold was over. Once a commie, always a commie and there's only one good commie, one that's under ground.

Patton was right, we should have nailed their asses when we were over there.

I just can't imagine Obama managing this issues very well.

John Bolton was right. We should have pressed the issue to get Georgia and the Ukraine into NATO, even with their internal issues. It would have had Russia reconsidering any military moves against those countries, and if they did, and NATO didn't act, it would have given us a true picture of how effective NATO really is. And then we would be better off to know to get out of NATO and take care of ourselves if it wasn't.

I wouldn't underestimate them from what we see on the news. They train and fight in the woodland environment while we've spent the last 15 years training and fighting in desert warefare. I'm not saying they can beat us, but we will damn sure pay for a victory over them. Also, speaking of the effectiveness of NATO...we have a lot of troops who fall under NATO so we would be involved whether it be as NATO or US. I agree, Georgia should have been entered into NATO. I know even less about the Ukraine but I thought they were pro-Soviet??
