Yay! New jeep project to start soon

After a year the ole ladys truck is about to come out of the warm shop! I am excited to get on to something else. Although I have 2 vehicles ahead of my jeep project, its getting closer hehe. I have toyed around with doing a couple of them at one time, just dunno if I can afford parts for all of them at once.

Well sub the long and the short of it is....I don't do anything else lol. I work, I go home and work in the shop. I buy and sell jeeps/parts to help finance my projects, and I do fab work for others....just a ton of work to make it all happen man.

Distorted...I don't have any pics of it outside yet since its been raining here...but here's some of it almost completed.

Never can get one past you can I?

They never did in 97, and never a flareside. It started out life as a shortbed f250. We swapped the bed since the stock one was junk and she wanted something different that anyone else. And if you know about me well enough, everything I own has a 60 front axle in it...so it was only fitting that I put one in hers too....soooo, now she's a 1 ton truck

1991 Ford High pinion kingpin Dana 60 front axle, 1996 10.25 Sterling rear axle, both with 3.54 gears. Rear has a trak-lock. 6" all spring lift. 7.3 powerstroke with scheid injectors, custom chip, larger turbo housing, 3.5" downpipe with 5 inch all the way out, and intercooler. ZF5 with upgraded internals and Southbend clutch....think thats about it for drivetrain....after all, can't too crazy when its the ole lady's rig hehehehe

Nice, I'm a 7.3 fan. If you said it has the little ol' gasser in it I would of been disappointed.

Yeah for some reason the 95-7 body styles have held their value and appear to keep it. I seriously doubt we will ever sell it as it would take stupid money for her to let it go. We are going to pick it up from having one scratched fixed tonight....I'm gonna take some pics of the suprise while it happens if I can.

Well here are the final pictures she took when we got it home....

intercooler

Custom paint job of our doggies we had to lay to rest earlier this year. I had this done while the truck was at paint in august and kept it a secret from her until tonight. He by far does some of the best work I have ever seen.
