I grew up in the 80's but I'm drawing a blank on much of this, must be all the drugs back when the universe meant something.

And don't go making fun of the plastic streamers on my handle bars

Grew up in the late 70's, came of age in the 80's (graduated in '85), so I remember the trends in the list and cartoons, but wasn't involved..........not ! Psyke !

Finally had to throw the Atari away, quit operating. I remember paying a quarter to play pong in the skating rink. I was there when heavy metal blew up (Metallica, Motley Crue, Testament, Exodus, Iron Maiden, etc.). Mullets, sleeveless t-shirts, checkered Vans slip-ons....

Whew ! Glad I'm past that. Now I'm waiting to see what the fun stuff will be when my kids are teens....

Oh, c'mon, Johnny Quest was NOT good. Hated that cartoon, the spider-like thing in the opening credits really creeped me out.

How about Sigmund the Sea Monster, or H.R.Puff-n-stuff ?
