Nope but I think we are sister cities... Well were actually a "village" we just got a website and it lists one of our officers as "lead homicide investigator" we haven't had a homicide in 45 years.

When you see the cop car in the officers drive way and he's doing an oil change.
When a car comes up your uncles garage while your officiating beer pong and you freak bc the car has a light bar on top and the officer gets out opens the trunk pulls out a cooler of confiscated beer and asks where to put it

True Story. Port Arthur, TX, Mardi Gras parade.."Mondo Krewe" float. 2002. The wife and I went partying on the float..throwing beads, coins...and yes we drank. My wife is..was handicapped, used a walker. At the end of the parade we had an unheard of distance for her to walk back, maybe 2 miles, at least one. And we were pasted. People of course had cleared out quick. We were with a little old lady, walking together back towards parking, towing our cooler full of beer and tequila. The little ole' lady pipes up.."Well, my grandson will be along soon, he can give us all a ride." So in good spirits we plod along reminiscing over the evenings festivities when a Port Arthur patrol car pulls up. "Hey! Theres my boy!". Her grandson, gives the three of us a ride, with our cooler..a ride to our pickup. We were pasted..well, almost. He asks us if we are okay to drive, "yep, just over yonder to Port Neches we go." He loads our cooler in the truck, grabs a beer and wishes us a good night.

There's Abandoned farms all over the valleys around here. In the weirdest places. I love wandering thru the old buildings. Some of those old farmhouses are kinda creepy and you can almost here the banjos....

When the name of your town roughly translates to "muddy water" talking about the creek outside town

I'm not sure what the real name for it is, but we've got one I've never heard called anything else than "Cow Shit Creek". I guess if it was really a hicktown it would be Crick, not Creek.
Well, that reminds me, closer to the Mason Dixon we have a Short Crick. Not sure if it's on the sign, but that's all I've heard it called.

My town has 700 people. Our whole county, which is about the size of Rhode Island, has 11,000 people.

Gotcha Beat! Our mail goes to Koosharem..5 miles from the house. Population 300. BUT, I live in a suburb 5 miles from Koosharem, called Burrville.. Population 25..unless my kids visit. Also 7.34 dogs, 4 cats, 7 geese, 4 ducks, asst livestock. Oh, I'm still a mile from Burrville and I and a couple of others plow the neighbors out cause the state only comes by once a day when it snows. I think I'm gonna put up a tear off sheet with "Txt me if your ass is stuck" at the local combination "post office, grocer, hardware store, gas station, and if it ain't complicated we'll fix your flat" thats in a building of roughly 1200 sq ft. Its the only place I've seen where if you need money out of the ATM, they go put money into it, in front of your eyes, so you can pull it back out. And, even though all the mail boxes have the key'd doors, you can just enter the office itself and go find your mail. We talkin small town here. Been here a few months and people stopped lookin at me funny until I showed up with a new jeep. Now they come out like I was in a new 8x8 John Deere tractor and want me to head the parade.

When you're town "is in an agricultural reserve". You cannot get out without passing a farm.
