I don't live in town, but I think my town has a population of like 83 or something. Does this classify me as small town or country. hm.

Probably both, but some days I think Heaven is the right word.

Might depend on how close together you live, too. Acreage = country, feet = don't blink or you might miss it.

Its country with little towns scattered. I live out on our old farm, I am most assuredly country. And I agree it is heaven

I think kids who grow up in the country tend to appreciate things more than other kids. I don't mean just material things, but the kindness of other people and what they do to support each other. After I graduated high school, my parents moved to the country. My stepdad passed away at 6:00am, and there must've been five dinners brought to our house by noon. It's amazing how people will pull together so quickly.

I have to agree with that. My dad passed away durring a hurricane. No one had power, nor much anything else, but neighbors took care of my mother before they took care of their own stuff.

When walmart is a 30 min drive just to get to.
When you know most everybody by the car they drive so when you pull in the parking lot you know who's in the hardware store already

You know you live in a small town when everybody knows everybody, just about everyone is distantly related and everyone is laid back and enjoys life to the fullest.

How about when the local dealership's tv add says if you buy a new truck they will give you a shotgun for free.

You know you live in a small town when the mayor is also an insurance salesman and your high school typing teacher.
