You think YOU'VE had a bad week?

I'm a high-schooler and I love my jeep. Earlier this week I bumped into a mexican in my hall who is one of about 40 that thinks he is a blood. Well he punched me in the back of the head, I promptly turned around and stuck him one in the face. He is around 300 lbs, I'm a well built 160. It broke up and we both got in school suspension.

Well the other day I'm walking and he basically superman punches me in the back of the head while im walking downhill. I didn't black out but was fairly close, turned around and told him how pathetic I think hitting in the back is but I am not interested in getting kicked from another school for fighting (last school found out I got into a fight with a punk outside of school and knocked out his teeth/ broke his jaw). He attacks me gets a few swings and tackles me, I was a wrestler and football player so he couldn't keep me on the ground but I don't fight back. Turns out I have a bad concussion from the punch in back my head and the kid only gets 5 days out of school suspension, I am pissed because I was told if I fought at all I would be gone.

My sister takes my Jeep out on friday and crashes it, somehow she managed to hydroplane it even though it has brand new 33 in bfg at tires. I don't know if I mentioned my grandpa and godfather died last week.

You get suspended for defending yourself? Change schools.

I once knew an 81-yr. old guy who frequented a tavern near my home in the late 50's. Three mexican punk kids jumped him in the parking lot one night after closing time. His face looked pretty swollen from being punched twice, but he was all smiles anyway; he killed two of them with a pocket knife.

So you got beatup by a lard@ss. Happens. Suck it up and drive on. Him being a Mexican has nothing to do with it, though, unless your attitude about the fact that he is hispanic is what made him want to pop your grape in the first place. Graduate High school, join the military and have a few "Mexicans" save your bacon a few times and maybe you'll learn that people are people. And no, I'm not Mexican but even if I was, wouldn't matter if the tables were turned. See above about people are people.

Sorry to hear about your Jeep, Grandpa, and Godfather, though.

damn, that is a rough week... sorry about everything.

When I was visiting a hospital to see a friend, a nurse told me about his week.
Monday: Car accident. Car still driveable.
Tuesday: Another car accident. Car totaled.
Thursday: Another car accident. Rental car totaled.

Before that week, he had never had an accident or any traffic violation before. Oh, and none of the accidents were his fault. If you're going through hell, keep on going...

Sorry about your bad luck and your Grandpa. There are bad folks out there in all shapes, colors and sizes but there are many more good than bad. Our diversity is what makes the USA the greatest country on earth.

Not fighting back because of repercussions to your actions by the school shows you have good judgement and made the right choice. The wrecked jeep and deaths you have no control over. Stay in school , control your emotions , don't let it get to you that you didn't fight back because of school status. I realize there are times you must defend yourself but choose them wisely. Give the 300 pounder the willys, stare him down let him make the moves to get kicked out or do stuff to make him think you are plotting revenge. Let him notice you in the background staring. It will get to the point that he will be looking over his shoulder all the time. Get your education, you may see him in the future either in an orange jump suit picking up trash on the highway or with a paper hat manning a deep fryer.

Thanks everybody, turns out they took the kid to jail so not fighting back this time seems to have been worth it. I'm not a racist, a lot of my old friends happen to be mexican but honestly I feel bad for them because it's mexicans like the ones i now go to school with that make people racist. Also on the bright side my sister didn't bend my frame or do any serious damage so I should have some parental sponsored upgrades for my jeep soon. (I was thinking highrock bumpers those are pretty sick) And one of my buddy's dad just gave me an 8500 lb warn winch he had sittin around.

Life only gets harder as you get older. Make the best of any bad situation and you'll do fine.

That's all I've got to say. Sorry. :/

Life can be rough, but it's all about perspective. I'll share a story with you to give you some perspective. My friend, Ryan, is a Riverside Police Officer (CA). He stops a truck last week that matches the description of one that was just involved in a hit and run. The driver stops and runs on foot. Ryan chases the guy through a dark park. The scumbag (on parolee from a supermax prison) hits him in the head with a metal bar, takes his gun and kills him. Ryan survived two combat tours in Iraq to return to this end. Life is precious. Live it to the fullest and value the people who care about you. Everything else will pass...
