i had a 1989 ford taurus station wagon. it was blue, primer gray, moss, and rust colored. there was a hole above the left side real light that had moss growing out of it. the only good thing about that car was it could hold 8 ppl

1976 Chevy Chevette Scooter my dad gave me in 1982 after I got my license. Got a pic somewhere. All the ladies called it "The Little Red Che-vette"...get it? Had a plywood back seat since they didn't come with one.

Got my truck right after I turned 16 (June of 2002)...bone stock Dodge Dakota 2wd V6 auto. Wrecked it a few times, modded it some...overall was a great truck. Never had any major breakdowns on me...I would replace stuff as it wore out rather than waiting for it to break. Traded it in less than a month ago on my Jeep.

This is pretty much what it looked like when I traded it in:

Do these count for my "first tractor"? First is an M992 Field Artillery Ammunition Support Vehicle. Nothing funner than runnung down the autobahn in Germany in one at 65mph. Just 32 tons. Second is an M-109A2 Self Propelled Howitzer. 155mm shells. 32 tons. Fun to drive as well. Ah, the good ole days.

Well... I don't have pics of the actual car but it looked a little like this one. The color is off.

It was a 1976 AMC Hornet Sport Wagon. It was UPS truck brown with baby turd tan interior. Yeah... It was a chick magnet!

My first love:

I want to pick up another one of these for a DD, I loved it. It had good low end torque like the Jeep, decent MPG, handy truck bed, and was comfortable as hell.

True, they are gaining "character" with age. That OHV 4.0 they had was a pretty mean engine, not unlike our I6's. It gets good torque early, but then was replaced with an engine which technically had more power but was a car engine so you had to go almost above 4k to get the same torque numbers the last one got at ~2k... Pretty much exactly what happened when Jeep switched to the minivan V6 for Jeeps

Talk about bringing back memories, I remember my first car like it was yesterday. It was a 1970 Ford Maverick with a 200 C.I. straight 6, with 72,000 miles on it and I paid $750 in 1978 when I was 18.
This is exactly what it looked like except mine was a mustard color, and was pretty much in the same shape. What a car it was, awesome gas mileage, and reliable but I could run faster than it.

My very first ride was a 1975 Yamaha RD125, I paid half and my Dad matched me. Looked just like this:

My first car was a baby-crap green 1972 Pinto..... looked just like this when I got it:

Just before I sold it, it turned a 12.98 quarter mile at Irwindale drag strip.
