Your other ride, is it a mopar?

I like to think of myself as a mopar or no car type of person.

I've been DD'ing a Durango since april 08 up until september 09 when I hand the keys back over to my parents and instead I've bought an 89 YJ

I'm pretty strong about only driving a mopar. What about you guys?

Couldn't care less. All of the Big 3 make flagship models that are NICE, to economy models that are crap. Ford is the only company that hasn't been bailed out by our government, so they're at the top of my list for now. I've owned multiple models from each make, and none stand out above the rest to me. I do love my Jeep, but it's hardly a MOPAR.

Not necessarily Mopar, but all American.

My current garage:
98 Jeep Wrangler
06 Jeep Commander (wife's)
05 Ford Mustang
06 Harley Davidson

I second the comment about supporting FoMoCo.

Not a fan of imports, even if some are assembled in the US.

i have to say you couldn't pay me to own a ford, simply because of the way they're designed. i can't stand working on them, at first i thought there was just no thought put into it that someone has to service these things, now i think they do it on purpose. no other manufacturer makes things so stupid to work on, and i work on european, asian, american, everything. i'll work on a bmw or benz before a ford.

First car was '66 Dodge Coronet. Haven't driven another Mopar. Get the GM employee discount so our last several have all been GM.

I hate ford, mostly because every one in my family including me, have had problems with them. I've had my share of problems with GMC and Dodge to though.

Got an '04 Dodge Durango Hemi. It has been a great vehicle. We just paid it off and are keeping it until the wheels fall off, or they come out with an SRT version

Raised Ford and went Mopar on my own. Currently Have a Ramcharger 4x4, Wrangler and Dakota.
Previously 2-64 Barracudas, Dodge dakota, Ram Quad Cab and Ram Mega Cab. No problems with any of them. Except repairs to get a couple of them running when I got them. I do dislike the corporate side.

I've pretty much driven Mopar since I can remember. First car was an 85 Dodge 600 convertible, then I had a Dodge Shadow, Dodge Ram, Jeep Wrangler and now I dd and tow my TJ with a 95 Grand Cherokee. Only slip up I had was when the ex-wife wanted a Chevy Tracker.

The Chevy part I could've overlooked. The fact she turned out to be one of the stupidest women I've ever known was the straw.

I will have to say that my next and near future purpose will be going against the grain. I'm gonna pick up a 7.3 Diesel Excursion. Us big boys need to drive around in big toys. But there is a Peterbilt for sale by me for 7500. That would be a fun tow rig with a 52 ft flatbed.

I was brought up on GM. First car was a '67 camaro (still have it but in pieces). I bought my wrangler in '99 and have liked my Jeeps since. I had an '01 GC and now I have my Commander. I have never loved a vehicle more than my Commander. I still have the Wrangler, but the Commander has been getting the miles.

I can understand not considering it a mopar... similar to the Dodge Stealth being a mitsubishi... but I'll still consider it a Mopar. The Stealth is basically rebadged however Jeep is flat out owned by Chrysler so it works in my books!

yep, all of our vehicles are mopar, and they are all the toughest 4 letter word on wheels. i can't see myself owning anything but a jeep. i am only really brand loyal to jeep. i don't care what label is on my ketchup, it all tastes the same to me. i don't care what label is on my clothes. i don't care what label is on my shoes, as long as they fit my feet. as far as my vehicle though, jeep is the only one that feels comfortable under my ass.
