Talking "You're" versus "Your"

Come on people, it's getting annoying!

Each word has an entirely different meaning:

"Your" is possessive, like "your Jeep" or "your nuts" or "your right nut"

Used in a sentence: "Cain, those pants are too short, I can see your nuts!"

"You're is a contraction, meaning the lazy persons way of saying "you are", like "you're sitting in my Jeep" or "you're nuts!" or "you're right, you nut"

Used in a sentence: "Cain, from the fact that you're wearing those stupid pants, I can see you're nuts.

See how that works? Two different words with different meanings. Please make an effort to use the correct one in your (possessive) posts.

Thanks!

This has been a public service announcement....

Wait just a damn minute!!!

There seems to be an awful lot of chatter on the board about my nuts and the fact that I'm nuts!

Of course, I understand because there is an abundance of both!

Ok. Scout, isn't it sad that people have to be told so many times before they actually get it?

Cain is retired military and I'm a writer so I work whenever the words are flowing. And yup, I've written at the beach... fun huh?

Your not conforming yet. You have a mini van in you're avatar! If you want to conform you need to change you're avatar to a monkey or a squirrel. That's when we'll know your conforming.

Just for you Unlimited! :flip off:
