2012 Jeep Rubi Mildew Smell

Just bought 2012 Rubi, 2 weeks old and drove thru car wash Monday, awful stagnant water mildew smell permeates the interior cabin. Took it back through car wash yesterday, smell subsided slightly, but this morning its back full strength again. Freedom Hard top, no apparent leaks, no water on floors, checks all forums, mystery smells - taking back to dealer today.

Not enough Lysol to mask this ordor

ANY THOUGHTS???

Sounds like water got through your top somehow. Did you smell close to your carpet? Water sits underneath the carpet easily.

Hmm... Stoner crack your windows, I get the same thing if the carpet gets wet and I leave the windows up. If the carpet is wet I pull that peice up and towel dry it

UPDATE ...... Jeep Dealer called found the mildew odor, it was our fishing worms from this weekend trip left in the rear cargo area. Picked up the Jeep, gifted the service techs with a dozen of Krispy Cream's covered in GUMMY WORMS! Gotta laugh about it. Happy Jeeping!
