2013 Trail Review

Happy New Year everyone.
I was just reviewing the fun I've had in the Jeep in 2013 and thought about all the trails I was able to do in my first year with the Jeep.

Rampart Range (parts)
Dakan Rd.
Long Hollow Rd.
Jackson Creek Rd.
Hotel Gulch
Ice Cave Creek / Winding Stairs Rd
Mt Herman Rd.
Shelf Rd.
Phantom Canyon
China Wall
Saran Wrap
Eagle Rock
Bull Park
Gold Camp / Old Stage Rd.

Looking forward to doing more in 2014. What trails did you do this past year?

This has certainly been a big first year for me too! I can't wait for the coming wheeling season!
My list: (with quite a few repeats)
China Wall - the intro
Wheeler Lake - the close by easy fix
Holy Cross - good blend of obstacles/scenery that keeps bringing me back....
Chinaman Gulch
Spring Creek - I forget how long/bumpy this trail is between each time I go.... Not a big fan.
Carnage Canyon BV
Radical Hill
Sob hill
Misc trails around Breckenridge
Trough Trail
Crystal Lakes
Left hand canyon
Georgia Pass
Independence Trail - run this and patriot both directions... UP Indy/Bunker Hill is incredible.
Patriot Trail
Sidewinder Trail

Utah: Poison Spider Mesa
Behind the Rocks (as a passenger only)
Gold Bar Rim
Rusty Nail
Pritchett Canyon
Upper Helldorado - possibly my favorite trail so far...
Half of Brittany Spears (area BFE))
Metal Masher
The "fun/hard" section of Golden Spike

For 2014 my goals are:
Montrose: Die Trying, Calamity, cactus canyon, and Boulder Canyon
Grand Junction: billings canyon, and the end of 21rd (broke a steering arm off the knuckle my first trip)
Moab: Coyote Canyon, Steel Bender, more exploring in Area BFE.
South Dakota: Hal John's.... Not sure I'll be ready for Captain Crunch this coming year.... A lot more $$$$ and a lot more seat time is needed for sure!

Some day trails: The Rubicon, Fordyce Creek, The Hammers, Some crazy trails I've seen in Arizona... Probably forgot a few but that's the vast majority of it.....

Holy crap.
Too long to list this year. I've had a great time on every single one and with every single one.
Looking forward to hitting some of the same again in 2014 as well as some new adventures.

This was a great year for wheeling. Made some good friends and had some great times even when breaking things lol and really tested my limits. Can't wait for the next season with new and old friends and new and more challenging obstacles and old nemeses to be conquered. Cans wait for a great year of wheeling
