What's even more impressive was when you managed to fit 4 33"'s in your daily!

as for how your jeep is set up, I have no idea and I'm not going to attempt to do a measurement as to whose is set up better or any of that. I'll put it this way - mine isn't my daily, I don't care about body damage, and I don't mind if something breaks as I have the means/ability to fix it. this one is one on mine and another friends bucket list so we are going to pit stop and see what it's all about.

I hope you do get to run 21 Road at some point if that is what you want to do. Just sayin the lack of knowledge about particular trails you are volunteering your rig to go on is a little premature. Enjoy four wheeling, understand what your getting in to, and by all means have fun...after all, that's what we are all tryin to do here...
I really don't give a shit, you opened the can of worms and all I heard was rock crawling here at this time hahaha I would love to join you I too am heading out to moab with my former club, intending on going twice. And that high and mighty attitude intended or not is just BS and insulting!=O don't sound like your blowing me off like a kid? hmm? If it was suppose to be a buddy thing then don't include dates silly goose or make it sound fun! I am pissed off but I am sorry if this is a private venture or that it was just about trailering. =P
Happy wheeling don't break what ya can't fix!

Ed, I think it's only fair that once your book is published everyone here receives a 1% royalty as compensation for the mental anguish we've all endured.

Well, that seems a reasonable request, I'll talk to my publisher about it. I'm having a bit of a problem with the dedication, any ideas?

Honestly, before I posted my simple "You can say that again!" comment which has apparently stirred the pot here I thought twice before posting it thinking maybe I was just being a little intolerant and others here weren't so annoyed by the numerous comments made by this user. Now however it's quite apparent that I'm not the only one who has an issue with this user.

It seems most boards have some sort of "banning" or at least "suspension" policy when certain members make the environment a not so fun place to be. Wondering what the policy is here at WF?

Holy sh*t people your just as bad as a bunch of high school girls.

Jeepchic not many people around here know who you are. Give yourself some time to get known before trying to go on every trail run.

Everyone else that's annoyed with her.. If she wants to go let her. If she breaks something cuz she thinks she prepared that's on her not you. I get it you guys are looking out for what is best (since we really don't know her capabilities.)

Ad fore anyone on the forum chill out. It's a forum for people to come meet and socialize not to get butt hurt every thirty seconds

Jeepchik and I have worked this out..its all good..I look forward to running some trails with her this year. As for someone breaking something on a trail..IMHO your there as a group..I wouldn't feel right leaving someone behind that has broken..so yes, it would affect me and several others I run with...we don't leave broken down or broke behind.

And I get that I wouldn't leave someone broken down either that's not acceptable in any manner what so ever... After I reread my post I understand why you saw this as what I meant...
What I was trying to say is. In the end your not the one spending a grand on new parts she is. Yes the break down will cause problems during the run. But at the end of the day your not the one trying to find new parts so you can get to work the next day..

I wish I had the run it all until it breaks attitude.... My new axles aren't even properly dialed in and I'm thinking about the next phase "just in case"........ Until I'm on a stroker, atlas, and 40's on 60's, I'm sure this paranoia will be the case ...... Then again, at least I have a plan/goal/way out

I broke about 3500$ worth of crap at the beginning of 2012.. Well that's including upgrades. I coulda had it all fixed for about 1200-1600 but I figured if I'm gonna take it apart why waste money on the same products when I could upgrade axels, gears, arb in the butt, LSD in front, and a HD short shaft driveshaft. Of course that's the way to go.

Me 3500$ later... Shit I shoulda saved the 500$ more for a Dana 44 in front. I "dun" f*cked up

I knew I'd end up on some 60's at some point, but a chromo'd hp30 and 44 with ARB's correct gears for my tires, and the Tera flex disc kit+steering kit for 1500.00 total was too good to pass on. Threw 500.00 for all the welding/fab/help as well as buy an sye/cv, new compressor, etc... How could I pass?

Sorry for hijack.....

I've wheeled with her probably 4 or 5 times and she was at toys for tots. I think more people don't know who you are.

Ed, for the dedication I would consult with Professor Irwin Corey.

Everyone in here is so angry.

As for if it has a place to park trailers I don't think that was ever answered.

Honestly iv only seen her post since the start of this year so I didn't think anyone knew who she was.
And I went out close to 10 times last year with people from here. I just struggle with going with you guys anymore cuz its turning into a giant social session not a wheeling session. When sitting there for close to an hour to talk after driving Down a dirt road for 5 minutes kills me.

But then again I'm not the social type. I don't care to talk to people.

I believe that Trail Damage said that there are pull offs along the road going into the canyon where you could unload, air down, etc.

I don't think anyone's angry, just really fed up. 'Engage brain before speaking' would be apt here, and I have been guilty of that omission on more than one occasion.

Also, actually reading through a thread before jumping in the middle of it is also advisable. Makes one sound like less of a fool.

I think the winter months are making everyone get cabin fever.
If her rig wasnt ready for 21, maybe someone could point her out first and offer a passenger seat to see the trail first hand. Then when she knows the layout and the trail, she can make her own educated decision on whether or not her rig will make it. At least shes passionate about getting out and doing something.
When I first moved out here from Oregon, I joined the local sportbike club. The scene in OR was really into mountain high speed riding, luckily the landscape lended to it without being too unsafe. Here though, it seemed more people were looking to get their nice shiny bikes from bar to bar and talking about them, rather than riding them. Once I swapped to Jeeps, I was glad to see there were so many hardcore crawlers mixed in with the folks who have ambitions to be outdoors, but not the funds to go big on their Jeeps. Lets not push out others, even if they seem overly excited. Its just passion for the ride.

Holy crap.
1 - is there a place to park trailers etc was the thread reason
2 - this isn't a posting for a trail run, its a question thread about parking trailers other than what is said on trail damage so deciding whose rig is ready or not isn't my concern..again, see point 1
3 - hijacked completely thank u..
4 - where is waldo?
5- I need a banana
6 - I found fido...guys I found fido...I lost seller, but I found fido
....can someone lock this thread I think its run its course.
