21 Road Question

Hey guys, some friends and I are going to go out and try and run 21 road in April/May. Is there a good spot to park trailers at where you would come out of the trail on that 16 rd? Or a place where people use to park trailers?

Thanks.

Haha yes 21 road. I've been on 18 road a lot I've been on 17 and 12/16ths road as well. They have screwed up street systems out there but it's a very cool place. I would bet you would be fine finding a spot to park trailers and unload as most of those backcountry roads I've been on have ample room and plenty of pulloffs.

ok thanks JocJK, yea, just looking for a place to park a trailer/pickup after unloading a few rigs.

Kaleb, I cannot wait, I've been stoked on hitting this trail for over a year now! FINALLY going to hit it with a few friends on our way out to Moab

Did your buddies happen to say how long it took them to go through?

Re: 21 Road Question

My buddies who were out there are in buggies... so not really a good example.

I'd definitely be up for that, it seems like a great semi-hard run to hit.

sounds good Kaleb, I'll let ya know when plans firm up.

Not worried about body damage and yes, I have plenty of armor in the event it's needed. I figure I'll get just as much damage from this one as I would Carnage or Indy/Patriot...let it roll and see what happens...junkyard runs are fun anyway

Lol, Corrie. Yeah, I guess I've done a lot of tongue bitting myself reading some of the posts by a particular user here but I think I would have bitten it right off this time around!

sorry, but this was just a question thread as to where to possibly park trailers when dropping off a couple rigs for any body that could provide that information. Not hounding on you particularly, we just have a couple of us that are dying to run it and are going to stop on the way out to moab and run it...not really a trailing running post thread. **I know my unlocked front Dana 30 (I refuse to truse or lock it cause I want to run something different anyway) running 35s is pushing it..whether or not we get out of this unharmed, I have no idea...but extra axle shafts, u-joints, etc etc are all going to be packed...if it breaks, I'll put what I can back together and limp myself back home and finally put in a high pinion locked dana 30 front **

as for how your jeep is set up, I have no idea and I'm not going to attempt to do a measurement as to whose is set up better or any of that. I'll put it this way - mine isn't my daily, I don't care about body damage, and I don't mind if something breaks as I have the means/ability to fix it. this one is one on mine and another friends bucket list so we are going to pit stop and see what it's all about.

I hope you do get to run 21 Road at some point if that is what you want to do. Just sayin the lack of knowledge about particular trails you are volunteering your rig to go on is a little premature. Enjoy four wheeling, understand what your getting in to, and by all means have fun...after all, that's what we are all tryin to do here...

Oh, not by any means. I just keep collecting them and pretty soon I'll be able to publish a whole book of them. I'll be rich! I'll be infamous! I'll be locked away never to see the light of day again...
