Throwing this out early so you can get it on your calendar.
This year It's 7-23-16 trough 7-29-16. I am sure it'll be another AWESOME year in the San Juan Mountains!!
So get it on your calendar and make reservations if your staying in a room.
Come one Come all!!
:bop:
I might just have to block off this week and reserve the vacation time now.
Is this a Jeeps only run? I have some out of town friends who wanted to come next summer and this would be perfect. You guys could help pull a FJ Cruiser and Jeep TrailHawk over some stuff they might not be able to do without help ;-) Like my stock JK is much better LOL.

A friend and I are planning a Colorado trip next summer. Would love to join y'all if everything works out. Hope y'all don't mind having a couple of Louisiana Jeeps tagging along?
Born in West Monroe myself. Still have just about every one of my kin down there. So I guess you'll fit in just fine. We are probably going to have some awesome folks from Alabama with us that came last year too
Really want to see this part of Colorado! Chad do you know of any good campgrounds in the area, thinking of bringing the family and pulling our popup to join yall if all works out.
We did the KOA last year and it's a nice campground with showers but wasn't really not our thing so we will be staying up off Camp Bird Road again like we did a couple of years ago. It's a little more primitive but has pit toilets. plus it's only 10 bucks a night vs 40+/night. plus plus it's right off the creek.
Timing is good too. The FJ Summit ends on the 24th so they trails shouldn't be too busy. The Amphitheater is another nice campsite, but requires early reservations.
I've put it on my calendar, but this year might be iffy for us. I've got a possible work tip to HI that could start that same week and we were also talking about Moab in the spring instead of Ouray this year... but it's hard to rule out Ouray with such great trails, great views and great people!

As much as I wish we could make this years adventures we have a new priority! We are starting to work on our new home similar to what Wayne is doing.
But ours is much further south. 3 bedroom 3 bath so we'll take visitors when we get moved in. Still not sure when that date is but it will be our vacation home for a while.
Oh, My jeep will be for sale!
Have fun you guys and maybe someday we'll make it back up to the States and Colorado.
Jeep for a boat... tough call! Good luck to you guys on the new house.
