That sucks you tagged the tie rod too. I'm looking at the RK tie rod myself as I need to start addressing steering components
I got the Rock Krawler HD Tie rod. DO NOT LET ONE BE BENT FOR LONG! I wore my tires funny driving around with the stock one bent. Probably wasted about $400 in tires right there Anyways the RK is nice it's beefy for sure and put a teraflex hd steering kit with a draglink flip in there and oh boy!

Both very good systems. Have a lj here at the shop with a full rockcrawler system on it. Very good quality stuff. Full traction is also top of the game as well. Don't think you will go wrong with either

Im confused, I thought you said you destroyed your tires by diving on them aired down on the road for an hour or something ??

Mine isn't bent, I just want some more strength up front since going to 37's. If mine was bent it would have been replaced immediately as the toe-in would be shot

Haha damaged slightly aired down. I blame Jayce for that one. 15minute drive my ass lol. But the toe screwed these. I blame myself for driving it like that and Rock Krawler for taking 5weeks to ship the part.

Sweet thanks for your input man. I really want that rk. But if I can save some dough and get just as good of lift I might as well

RK is a better overall system, the arms and ect from full traction are very good, the rest of the kit is standard fair

Yeah rk looks beefy as hell. For the extra money do you think I should do the rk? Or pieces of both?

I think it'd be fun to get a crew together out there, and go hit some trails the groups aren't running, that'd be a good time!

I'd love to have a fun capable group out there that we know, I think that'd be cool!

I'm lucky enough that I'm usually wheeling with a few good people I know out there, but they don't tend to push all that much, I'd like to try some harder stuff too... but also enjoy running for the sake of it as well!

Yeah buddy. I want to hit the harder stuff and see what Moab is all about. I've seen tons of videos and want to reenact them, minus the rollovers

I'm under 200 miles from Moab and went last year and camped. It got cold once the sun went down but cuddled with the missus it was fine. Once the sun comes up it warms up quick. No way in hell will I go in the summer. Even in March the temp swing can be from 30 at night to 90 during the day.
We didn't go as part of a group, just us two and met up with some nice people from Colo we joined so the line for us was non-existent except for one instance where they breaked for lunch and we did the same as we were ready. Also, its a spectator sport as well, sorta like being in Vegas looking at hookers only its Jeeps...HUNDREDS of them so its super cool. I'll be there though this time I may well take the fifthwheel and stay in the camper.

We are now leaving on Saturday the 23rd and returning on the 1st of April. I am also interested in a good last minute camping area. Neve been before and any suggestions would be great.

I would be interested in running with some of the guys around here if a group is getting together.

I'm in! I have to do the opening weekend as I have a visitor coming to ski the second weekend. Definitely planning to camp as well. No reservation, so it's going to interesting. That said, I'd rather go with a good group than get stuck in a random commercial campground anyway!

Any and all are welcome to join us. We have 3 so far, possibly 4. I think the plan is to run the trails the groups aren't on so we can hit more of them and camp out in the back country wherever we choose.

I'm heading out Early Friday morning march 22nd and am coming back Wed. 27th or Thursday 28th if I stick around for the vendor show. Most likely will.

Would like to catch up with you all. I won't be able to leave until Sunday. Don't know if you can post the area you end up in, but if you can we'll try to catch up.

I'm going with another JK... Headed out Tuesday the 26th from Denver and returning Saturday or Sunday.

Never ridden with anyone here, but absolutely interested in making new wheeling friends.

we go to moab a lot for a variety of reasons, and have always avoided the charlie foxtrot of EJS. contemplating it this year though as a first long trip for our new tow-pig and the flatfenders first moab trip. mostly just to see the madness, if we find it too much we might go climbing instead of wheeling.

if you know the area well enough, you can always find awesome camping and get away from the crowds.

I'll send yall my number later in case you want to meet up or ride out there with us. Not sure where we're going to camp yet, but I'm confident we can find a good spot pretty easily

That would be awesome man. You should definitely meet up with us and run some trails. It looks like I'll be heading out there early on Friday 22nd till Midday Thursday after I spend some money in the vendor show

On the ejs sanctioned runs, it is not (while on the trail). But after should prove another story. I'm mostly attending because it is close enough to justify for the experience as a whole, not just trail time. I will definitely be returning shortly after
