anybody got stock control arms laying around?

I bent my passenger rear stock LCA, and not quite ready to upgrade yet, just wondering if anybody has one (or both, or all 4) they'd part with.

Driving in the snow is showing me that the bent one probably should be replaced

I also have some rear lower control arms, they are tubular warrior products. I replaced them with some TeraFlex LCA's your more than welcome to them also. I'm located in Firestone.

Good point Mike... guess I shoulda made that more obvious!

Other thing I'm not sure of, but does any body know if the rear control arms on the JKU & JK are the same? (or know where I could look that up?)

Well if you're in my neck of the woods try High Country 4x4 in Englewood, last time I checked they have tons of stock control arms laying around.

Hey! I like my rattly old TJ. I don't have to worry about anyone mistaking me for a Hummer...

That's kinda funny...

my last toy:

Funny how may HEEPS I saw turn around on the way up spring creek when I was driving the H3... that was just fun. (oh and strapping the guys with a "H3 recovery vehicle" sticker was particularly enjoyable )

just proves it's not the vehicle... it's how you drive it, and how you set it up. I see gapers driving jeeps up & down 70 every day with 29's on them... so sad. or even worse... lifted machines with monster tires that have CLEARLY never seen a rock in their lives.

The H3 was actually a pretty capable vehicle wit the 4:1 t case in it, it was a lot of fun, I just got sick of GM BS electronics, and snapping steering racks with no real fix. Luckily for the other H3 guys though, I drove a few guys to come up with a fix so that's one less issue for other guys driving them. I still wheel with a bunch of 1's & 3's in Moab... fun folks to hang with!

Good Call man, didn't even think of that! I'll give Timmay a call tomorrow, he's also a recovering H3 guy, and usually is a great dude to talk to!

Oh, I would never argue that they aren't extremely capable. Met a guy with an H2 truck that could do the hairpin going down Box Canyon. Actually I was just looking for a cheap shot for picking on TJ's

Well... even in the Jeep world you've got to talk smack about SOMEBODY right???

Gotta be honest, it was way more fun wheeling the H3. You show up with a lifted Rubi & everyone EXPECTS that you can do anything, you show up in a Hummus & it's way more fun proving people wrong. I always got a kick out of guys with jeeps on 32's telling me we couldn't do something, it just made it more fun. With the rubi, things are just a little more boring now

There are a few yet... I think Rooster has some challenges left up there too!

It's just funny though, stuff that was eventful in the H3, even with 4:1, 4.56 gears, and a motor with 40 more HP is now child's play with the 5.13's in the JK. the far left side of first obstacle I could get out & walk next to the JK as it idles up the wall... it's just crazy how smooth it makes things.

I was wondering about that... can't imagine your rig needing a tug on jenny... there's only one moderately tough spot.

I must be missing the joke on the fire extinguishers, does the 3 have a rep for fires? Never heard that (or I'm just too dense to get the joke )
